Yeah the PJD bikes have been pretty cool. Right after Paul Jr. left OCC had some shitty looking crap come out.

Not crappy, jsut looked like stock bikes.

PJDs problem is that other than the occasional "big build" he has no other revenues. He does not understand business at all. He must be burning through cash. taking everyone to Florida? Realy? 6,7 people? Hotel costs, etc. It makes no sense.

OCC atleast has "factory" bikes. it is run liek a business. That's the thing PJ does not understand. PJ also has no work ethic. He is lazy.

I think you're missing the point though.

Bu opening PJD, he stayed on the show (making money from TLC), he kept OCC on the air and keeping people interested in that too (20% is his). He likely sold MOUNTAINS and MOUNTAINS of PJD branded crap. KA-CHING.

You have to remember these guys are multi-millionaires at this point. They could walk away tomorrow and be PERFECTLY fine for life. PJD isn't looking to build some huge monstrosity like OCC did (hell look where that got them for that matter).

wich is one of the reasons i don't watch it anymore. it reakes of desperation and being fake. just don't enjoy it and hell the bikes aren't that great. it was cool the first year or so but now? pfft.

Another observation (this is nothing earth shattering here)

Sr. is beyond dumb and in articulate. You'd think that after years of doing interviews and unveils he come somewhat speak well and put together a cohesive thought.

In last night's episode he did the unveil for the Bic bike and could hardly say a damned thing straight. Then they went to PJD's unveil and Paul Jr. was articulate (comparatively), intelligent (comparatively), professional (comparatively).

Sr. is just a dullard.

And Sr. took it hook line and sinker (I assume there is SOME creative editing, though the episode "A Crew Divided" seemed to paint a fairly legit picture).

I loved how Sr. right away started in on Jr. too when he's sitting there talking to Odie. I hate that I am drawn into the personal crap, but I have to say that Sr. looks like the biggest fucking hypocritical moron ever.

The funny thing about that is you can see a lot of Paul Jr. in Odie.

I guess the whole "I own 20%" went to Paul Jr.'s head, or just the typical "I'm the bosses son" thing which is not uncommon in that situation.

That's a really good point. That IS a younger Paul Jr. more or less. I do think he has changed though and seen the error of his previous ways.

Maturity comes with age and experience in most cases.
