america, how much was your electricity bill in July?

$88 for a fucking one big studio. Fuck NYC prices.

My parents get same bill chilling their whole 3 story house.

$400, luckily we had just signed up for average billing, so we only paid $215.

The average temp we had for July was 89F, most days it was well over 100, and generally didn't get below 100 until around 11PM.

went from $90 to $188. bah!

same here. im in an 800sq ft apartment too! electric runs everything though.. but still i had a 1400sq ft house for 10 years and my electric+gas bill in the summer never went above $150. i honestly think someone is stealing from us

About $50 for July.

I am worrying about the next bill of August. We have so many days with over 100 degree lately that I lose count.

I dunno. Something in the $20s just like normal.

It's 63F outside right now. We're going to hit a high of 73F today if the haze lets up.

😀

It was $180 last month, $206 this month. This July was the 7th or 8th hottest on record.

August bills are gonna suck for North Texas...Dallas will probably break the record this Friday for number of 100 degrees days in a row...record is 42 days set back in 1980 and we are at 37 days right now...

With the spring and summer months our bill drops into the double digits. We have no AC and spend ~$200/mo heating in the winter.

just ordered one of these from Amazon....
