And if an RTX 5060 equals or exceeds it, then what?
It won't, it won't have up 96GB memory available for the gpu alone ;) Oh, unless you mean gaming performance, then hmm, I don't expect Halo to sell well in the gaming crowd regardless of performance, it seems to be an M4 Max/Pro competitor and not nVidia dGPU competitor. It will be able to game sure, but I guess it will cost less to go with nVidia dGPU or Strix Point depending on your gaming needs.

M4 works great for Apple because they control everything in their ecosystem.

In the PC space, I expect this would be ignored for NVidia dGPU parts by gamers.

That leaves what? Non gamers that need big VRAM, so essentially AI again, which is what AMD was pushing at the CES reveal.

STX Halo benchmarks on the HP ZBook have started popping up on Geekbench with comparable scores to the ASUS tablet (at least for CPU).

Problems with sensor readout as it shows max cpu freq at 4380MHz? (scores would indicate around 5GHz)

So now that clearly Zen 6 and RDNA 5 IP will not happen before end of 2026, what is AMD doing in the APU space for yearly next year? They must have something cooking for the next CES. I believe it will be the time for a Strix Point, and hopefully Strix Halo refresh with Zen 5 + RDNA 4. But I don't know anything about their mobile roadmaps, so what are some credible leaks or rumours on this topic?

Is there anything new suggesting end of 2026, rather than mid 2026?

If it is N2, N2 should be ready by mid 2026.

Medusa Halo zen 6 + rdna5 + N2* ? Ok gonna be the superchip of the decade

If it's only coming in a year and a half, its relative performance compared to other chips may not be all that great.

It doesn't look like Intel will be sleeping all that time. They're becoming quite aggressive with their APUs' release schedule, with Arrow Lake H coming to handhelds and Panther Lake coming this year still.

Medusa will be facing Nova Lake which sounds like an absolute beast.
