More details on the RAM.
1) This is the G-Skill Trident Z kit I got:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232317
Model number F4-3200C16Q-32GTZKW.
Splitting it into 2 would be like buying 2 of the F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW
2) EVGA RAM
http://www.microcenter.com/product/459741/16GB_2_x_8GB_DDR4-3000_(PC4-24000)_CL15_Desktop_Memory_Kit
Model number 8GX-D4-3000-MR
3) G-Skill Aegis DDR4-3000
http://www.microcenter.com/product/474187/16GB_8GB_x_2_DDR4-3000_PC4-24000_Desktop_Memory_Kit
Model number F4300C16D16GISB
BTW, I updated the AB350 Pro4 firmware to 1.44.
I will try to manually force the Trident Z.
In regards to the sad state of memory support / firmware, I made 2 builds for customers using the Asus prime AB350 plus. Same exact builds, same board in both, same firmware in both, same RAM in both.
One of them worked perfectly with the eVGA RAM at 2933 using the XMP profile. The other one had to be forced manually at 2933 with a little voltage over 1.35V...
