Is the Hyper 212X even relevant these days? I'm sure I read somewhere that the Wraith cooler performed the same as one, or near enough as to make little difference.

there's basically nothing in it, including in noise levels, except the wraith cooler is lower profile and er, free.
So I would presume that unless AMD has gone backwards with their cooler design, any non-X Ryzen cpu should be adequately cooled.
As said earlier, Wraith is a good enough CPU cooler. However, we are not sure yet if it will come bundled with every Ryzen ir not.
If it is not, Hyper 212X is a low cost solution available in India.
