I'm unsure regarding memory choice. Pairing with 5900x / mobo undecided yet.

Looking at either

• Trident Z RGB Series 32GB DDR4 3600MHz CL17 Dual Channel Kit (2x 16GB) or
• Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Dual Channel Kit (2 x 16GB)
• Trident Z RGB Series 32GB DDR4 3600 CL19 Quad Channel Kit (4x 8GB)

So 4 sticks but slower or 2 sticks and a little faster. What would you go with?

Hope that works out for you. The Matisse supply situation last year was dreadful. Hopefully AMD will hit with more Vermeer chips this time around.

BH sounds tempting but as a caution, I preordered my 3970X from them. The order sat out there for a long time and had zero movement. I actually found the processor 2 months later at Microcenter at Christmas time. So over a month, they did no fulfill the order and I doubt it had that huge of a backlog.

I will try to pre-order again with them, but will be looking to Micro Center and Newegg to hopefully get it faster.

I managed to get a 5950x from AMD direct. It was very dicey but maybe I got lucky. I had both Newegg and AMD open and Newegg instasold in under a second 😱. Pretty hyped right now. Just need a 6900xt and should be good upgrade wise.

I think i perhaps got a 5600x before it was gone. Major retailer in my countrys site just colapsed before it was sold out. The hype is insane. No wonder i would have taken either of 5600 5800 or 5900. lol insane moments.

I really wasn't expecting these to be sold out. Guessing it is going to be difficult getting their GPUs as well now based on what is happening for their new CPUs.

Not the same but similar to Nvidia bundling a CoD game with 3800/3900 cards.

The marketing departments must really have no models for the supply/demand issues that are going on right now.

So, I posted a comment (on the xbox thread), it submitted, and then nothing loaded after that. 🙁

Hopefully these new CPU's don't have horrible stock issues like another recently released product.
