AMD Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G APUs performance unveiled

Curiously, it is identified as Raven Ridge, but with 1MB of L3- while Summit Ridge supported only 100%, 50% or 0% L3 cache configurations.
Edit: 2200U is spec'ed with 4MB of L3 , but Geekbench for some devices sees just 1MB , and in other- 4MB.
Edit2: Might be depending on Geekbench version: 4.0.0 and 4.1.0 seeing 2200U as unknown product with 4MB of L3, while Geekbench 4.2.0 and 4.2.2- as Raven Ridge with 1MB of L3, which is still curious.

pretty much the same score as a Pentium G4560... but with probably way better IGP, an interesting CPU if priced well.

edit: apparently the IGP is named Vega 3, so that means 192SPs? still probably faster than the G4560, but no idea by how much...

This is a 35W part, so the comparable product would be the 5500T (3.2 Ghz) and 5400T (3.1). GPU wise it'd be faster but probably not by much.

If retail is getting the 200GE APUs, then we need some cheap ($40-45 A320 should do it) boards, with HDMI outputs, that will drive 4K UHD to go with them. Preferably ITX, even. (Would make a nice AM1 replacement.)

Edit: Nevermind A320, what about the A300 / B300 / X300 non-chipset chipset? I mean, Ryzen APU is an SoC, just like AM1, with the first few SATA ports on the APU pinout, and could have a board with essentially just a socket and an ethernet chip (not sure if the APU has necessary sound chip inside too).

Could be very, very cheap, especially for "business-class" OEMs putting together simple office-task boxes, and a Ryzen 2C/4T should still prove potent, with appropriate DIMMs. Maybe even with a PCI-E M.2 slot too.

It would be a perfect low-power HTPC.

Huh? What does "Raven2" refer to? Raven Ridge 2018? R7 2800H?

What's the deal with the cTDP option anyway? Are there board manufacturers that do put it into the BIOS? Why wouldn't it be a regular option just like all the memory micromanagement settings?

Hell it would be nice if AMD could slip that sucker into some AiO PCs as well. Last time I looked, everything in that form factor was still Bristol Ridge or Stoney Ridge, and overpriced to boot.

This SKU TDP should be 25 W in practice, 35W seems a lot for 2C/4T@3.2GHz.

I would expect to perform like a Pentium with GT2 in both CPU/IGP, but at a Celeron price.

I think what he meant was gpu wise because 200ge has lower SP than a8 9600.
CPU wise, it's undoubtedly faster.
