Am I the only one that think the 2400G is priced correctly?
It sits right between the Ryzen 5 1400 and the 1500X, and it has the embedded graphics as a bonus.
Unless the lack of L3 cache really kills its performance, I am planning on consolidating R5 1400 and 1500X builds into 2400G...
On the other hand, the 2200G simply looks like a much much better value.
For CPU only its good, and for non-gaming its excellent, it petty much kills R5 1400 + GT710 and this ensures R5 and R3 Ryzen, now 2200G and 2400G can be competitive for non-gaming builds once H310 drops by, so this was a needed move either way.
For gaming with igp trought, its too expensive, and for "getting a APU, play with the IGP, then upgrade later to a dgpu" neither the 2200G and 2400G are a good idea since they are both quad cores. Im thinking around 2 years in the future here.
I would rather get a good MB and good 16GB kit memory as minimum, with a 2200G and then change the APU as well when upgrading to a dgpu, or shortly after.
