Well, we now know that this advocacy program is not new.It has been in effect at least since November 7th 2012.

I didn't comment that he was treated badly here, I agreed with the person who commented that was treated badly here. But how you treat him doesn't really matter IMO because you're pretty much running neck and neck with the best of the snipers and trolls on here.

My opinion is that the subject itself isn't to troll, but the poster himself is. He posted and disappeared, so who knows his intent. I made an assumption.

That attitude is part of the problem with the discussions on this forum. People read in too much in a post based on who wrote it rather than what it said. If one accuses people of being biased, in posts where they are not, it will only reinforce the bias by forcing them to dig deeper in their respective trench. If give people some slack they might allow themselves to change. (For some reason Balla comes to mind 🙂 ) That said, neird rage is the most entertaining flavor of rage.

I know you're just reposting what Mark posted on ABT, but did you actually read the article? Because the next paragraph further expands this paragraph.

I like how you (or I guess Mark in this case) are using the date of a blog post as some kind of proof that this is the date this program was started, or at least evidence that this program was already in progress.

The blog post is clearly about AMD's plans on how to expand their marketing (ie like most companies make road maps). Like this paragrpah:

"For example, we may run a promotion featuring a great new AMD product, the winner of which might receive not only a product sample but also tickets to a great show or event, or maybe even the opportunity to attend a product launch."

Didn't they just host an event (the one that this whole can of worms is based on) a week ago, March 7th?

Have there been any other events prior to this March 7th one?

Again, I never said there aren't undocumented employees posting here, but I feel the same way even about your company (nVidia) and my beloved Intel.

It's amazing how you guys (not just Keys/Mark) twist things to fit some kind of agenda. Do you guys honestly have nothing better to do (well I understand Keys is compensated, and Mark is trying to prove something) but sheesh.

Anyways, just wanted to say that - let the poo flinging continue.

If concrete proof is given that AMD has undisclosed shills here, they should be perma-banned. The same goes for any other company as well. I just don't see anyone here that is putting in as much effort as Rollo ever did to shill products. Nobody truly stands out as, "OMG, that person HAS to be getting something from X company".

Looks like the focus group was not given Titans. Maybe they are just trying to put in a little extra effort to get themselves some. :biggrin:

Here's the thing. Who really cares if he gets a Titan for slamming AMD? I don't, and I wouldn't care if he got an Asus Ares to slam Nvidia. Video card defenders of all colors are nothing but clowns. If the red nose fits..........

Here's the thing....if AMD has a focus group anything like Nvidia's then AMD are just as stupid for copying something so deceptive and divisive.

It's only deceptive and divisive on forums with limited viewership. AT, [H], OCN, etc. are a drop in the bucket compared to the total market out there for video card purchases. Too many discussion forums are destroyed by clowns who feel some misguided need to defend a big corporation that could care less about them. This forum would be better served if the message was attacked/discussed rather than the messenger, but alas this is always the case in politics (and AMD vs. NV has devolved to that IMO) and I guess it will never change.

Let me point out your need to state "green nose"........everyone knows clowns wear red noses regardless if they feel the need to defend AMD or NV.

I am not sure if you are calling me a clown...which means you are also guilty of '''attacking the messenger'' if you are calling me a clown..It's better to be red nosed or green nosed than to be brown nosed.
