All kidding aside, of course we'd all love to get free hardware. And then when we discuss the free hardware we'll be primary targets for the fanboys of the competiting hardware. It's the circle of the forum life. If any of you get in, kudos, enjoy the swag, but also be prepared!

Well, a real focus group is not composed of fan boys, but rather demographically selected beta testers. One evening I was focus group member for a beer company, getting paid for drinking beer is not bad, but they wanted honest feedback, not "yep, taste great, all of them". From the little information I see on AMD's program it is not really a focus group, but they want to fill the Internet with talk of their products, be it good or bad. And that I can do! (Although I do not know what would happen if you talk too much bad...)
