Anyway OP, don't take the drug. It's highly addictive and extremely damaging in the long run which is inevitable, when you realize how good it works on that first try.
The thing about drugs like Lunesta, Ambien, Restoril is that you should really only take them as needed. You do not want to get in the habit of using them every night. I try to limit my use of temazepam to two, maybe three nights a week.
As far as getting off of these sleep aids, I went through a pretty rough few weeks from when I did over use them. It's not impossible to get off of them, though you have to suck it up and work at it. Kava root, L-theanine, valeria root, other natural seditive meds that have an effect on the GABA system can really help you step down from the pharms.
