Am I the only one who hates the White Stripes?

theyre a very polarizing band... the raw drums and guitar is abrasive on the ears. sometimes i like it and most of the time i find it annoying

Jack White can rip on the guitar, and when he does it's awesome (saw them live in Seattle once... very good show). But I really only like maybe... a quarter... or less... of their stuff.

As for Meg... big tatas do not make a woman hot. But I'd still probably hit it. 😛

I don't own any of their CDs, but songs like "Seven Nation Army" and "My Doorbell" do indeed contain 100% of a recommended daily allowance of Rock.

I was never a fan until I downloaded a bootleg taped from FM radio Berlin in 2001. Superb sound and a wall of sound from a guitar and drums.

Slide guitar = cool.
1-4-1-5-4-1 chord progressions = cool.
Vintage guitars and amps = cool.

But I'm not a rabid fan or anything. I like the couple boots I have and I don't own any of the cd's. I think the studio version would ruin my idea of what the song should sound like.

Also, I think David Fricke from Rollin Stone compared Meg's drumming to John Bonham. I about sh!t myself.

Meg couldn't hold Bonzo's stick bag.

I just watched the youtube of Seven Nation Army, and calling that steaming pile of anal leakage "rock" is an insult to the genre.

You may not like them but they most certainly do play rock music. Deal with it.
