Am I the only one appalled by how classless people are?

I think it is classless as well. Very poor taste to celebrate someone else's death...regardless of what evil they did in life.

I'm not the least bit sad he's dead but I'm not celebrating it.

I never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.

And they do indeed lack class.

None the less, Americans are happy he was assassinated - make no mistake about it. And that in on itself is a celebration about someone's death.

Most people who aren't missing teeth and fuck their own family members will choose to accept peace, resolution and move on.

Those who are inbred, plow pulling, shoeless, confederate flag waving bumpkins will buy these and walk into their local drinking hole and "he-yuck" about it until they pass out from one too many "swigs" of uncle Joe's moonshine.

It's expected frankly.

Speaking of classless, you're pretty much scraping the bottom of the barrel yourself. I'm sure in your little world of one you're a real hero, but to the rest of you're just another redneck asshole.

I don't care about his image. I'm saying it's classless that there's a market for celebrating death. Honestly it shows how primitive some people are that they paraded the streets to celebrate the death of someone. Refer to OP for proper reaction.

Why do you hate America?

His death should be a national freaking holiday and celebrated forever.

The only thing appalling to me is how many people have fallen for OP's obvious trolling.

I say he's trolling because there's no way anyone could be that stupid.

Care to back that up with evidence as to why only a dumb person would find this classless? I'd think it's the other way around. Either you are trolling or you are too dumb to figure out what this thread is about.

The point is that people will buy these things and celebrate his death that is classless.

How and why are you the arbiter of "class"? Get the fuck over yourself. OBL was a pile of human shit and as far as the sale of silly celebratory nick knacks on eBay or whatever, I can think of a thousand things more classless.

I'm not particularly happy that OBL is dead, but I think it is very celebration-worthy that justice has been served and that a danger to decent people everywhere has been eliminated.

Personally, I wish he could have been taken alive. I think the sense of closure & justice would have been even greater had he gone through the trial process. And if the legal process determined (as it would) that he was worthy of execution, then so be it with extreme prejudice.

This is among the stupidest things I've ever read here.

Osama Bin Laden devoted his life to making the world a worse place for billions of people. The longer he lived, the more time he had to spread his evil. His death ended his ability to do that, and that is cause for celebration. And if that's not enough, consider this: you're a father, right? Your kids get to grow up in a world with no Osama Bin Laden. That is cause for celebration. Someone will take Osama's place, and we'll kill that guy too, and that will be cause for celebration. Destroying evil-doers is cause for celebration, because they can do no more evil when they're dead.

Classy.

I'm happy he's gone, not because his death makes me happy but for the fact that he can't cause any trouble now that he is dead.

There is a good MLK quote.

“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy.”

Classy.

This has nothing to do with what he did. It has to do with how people respond to the death of another person. Let God or Allah or the Flying Spaghetti Monster judge Bin Laden.

I watched this unfolding on CNN with my 8 year old in the room and I did not cheer or laugh. I was genuinely appalled at what I saw, people cheering the fact that our government killed someone. I'm glad he's dead, but I'm not cheering about it. I'm also glad that our military gave him a swift burial at sea according to his beliefs.

In short, fuck you and your judgement of me.
