With Pedro and Curt, they're too dominant. Red Sox in 6!

The same Pedro that gave up 8 runs and the same Curt that gave up 7 to the Yankees?
Rumor has it that Curt only gave up 1 HIT on Sept. 26th (2 weeks ago) last time he faced NY. ;)

No the same Pedro and Curt who have a 5.52 and 4.95 ERA respectively, against the New York Yankees this year. If you want to just pick games out, I'll give you the full season's statistics.

Should be an exciting series.

How bad do you think Schilling's ankle is bothering him?

I read something about him possibly getting shots in it before the game so he can't feel it!?!

Anyways, I hope Mussina does a good job tonight and the Yanks bats get to Schilling early and often!

Keep trying NY fans, but you can't pay off the denizens of AT to vote for your team! They aren't stupid, they know who has the better team this year and won the season series 11-8!!

He's actually going to be wearing a brace, just in case. Sox don't want to take any chances with the Man with the Golden Gun.

Wow repeating the obvious. We all know that Boston is the better team on paper. ESPN says so. FSN says so. Everyone in the god damn world thinks that the Sox are the better team on paper. ON PAPER. As you have pounded into everyone's head, paper statistics mean NOTHING. Hence the Marlins and their incredible run, the Diamondbacks and theirs, even the 1996 Yankees. Better team does not equal a championship. Better leadership does. Get a better manager, maybe you will go somewhere.

Should we bust out Vazquez and Brown's season stats? Hint: they're alot higher than the numbers you just posted. Didn't think so ;) Next.

What about the 1998 NY Team that won 125 and steamrolled everyone? Think of the rebirth of that team as this year's Red Sox ;)

Wakefield is in the house.
You forgot about Vazquez's 5.56 ;)

Sorry, I believe I never mentioned that we have a "dominating" pitcher. Not mention that Brown has been hurt and Vazquez is not himself. Please before you counter an argument, don't deviate from the original post. It just makes you look stupid.

Red Sox in 5!

And the embedded Yankee McCarver won't be spewing his crap into my living room, I'll have Fox on MUTE. Trupiano and Costiglione will be on the receiver, calling the action.

I just wanted to capture this quote for future references ;)

RedPickle, admitting his team is worse. Oh, the slaughter has begun, we are circling the trains with bow and arrows!

This thread got awfully quiet. Funny how all the bars that were filled up for the divisional series last year against the A's were practically empty last night, great fans.
