I drink mostly socially, meaning on weekends only. Even then only to loosen up a little, get buzzed.

Some days I will come home and have a thirst for a cold beer or even a good red wine, and I'll drink one beer or two glasses of wine, but that is rare.

I may get shit-faced-drunk maybe twice a year...like at the October Fest.

i'm an alcoholic, used to drink 6-10 shots a night (within an hour) but now switched to about 10 beers a night. but i will only discuss it it through PM (as i stated in a thread a few days ago). i started a thread about it once but most people don't understand it so it was useless.

I don't drink, I'm not allowed to on my probation terms, I also have to sign up for a substance abuse class. Alot worse than it sounds, just busted for violation involving alcohol and now I have to do all this stupid shit, including community service.

I see nothing wrong with a case a day, unless I had a beer gut. I like liquer though, so I drink over the rocks.

The only time I see it is considered out of hand is if it is causing a problem with you meeting bills or other important things in your life.

the meetings are useless if you are atheist. despite what they say, it's all godly stuff. the counseling focuses more on cognitive behavior therapy, which is actually fairly useful. the goal is not sobriety, the goal is being healthy; healthiness is a symptom of sobriety. that's all i've learned so far.

I drink every day of the week. The first thing I do when I wake up is have a shot of tequila, followed by another about an hour later. On the weekends I usually only have one shot in the morning. This has been my routine for about the past 15 years.

That being said, it's a very rare occasion that I have more than those one or two shots of tequila a day, and I can count on one finger the number of times I get drunk in a year.

I drink quite a few beers every night. Used to be the "oh I'll grab a 40" after a long day at school or just relaxing at night to get to bed, and also on weekends, so it was 3-4 times per week. Then it was a couple every night. Now it is 4-6 beers every night. And I just moved, and Yuengling is available here which is my favorite fairly cheap (price of Bud) beer, so I've been putting that shit down.

But as far as getting drunk, it takes maybe 7-8 beers before I'd say I am drunk, and I don't get drunk more than once a month. I just like having beers starting a couple of hours before bed while I am gaming or watching TV/movie on the rig.

But it's getting kind of expensive. Need to go get yet another 12pk of Yuengling in a little bit here...

Meh, I started drinking High Life almost exclusively last year. It is not quite as cheap as Keystone or Old Mud but so much better so I haven't had either of those in quite a while. But I'm a baller now so I can swing the Yuengling I guess.

no and a few times a year. when i was a younger man i was a drinker. went out 5 or 6 nites a week until i had kids. now that im older, i dont binge drink at all and rarely have more than 2 drinks out with buds. i havent had a drink since i went to havasu for work a few months ago. customer that is also a friend took us to the cigar shop his fiancee works at, they just started serving alcohol. she had me try the strawberry blonde ale. pretty good stuff.
