Alcohol survey(s)

I have to be the lamest casual drinker ever...About the only time I ever drink a beer is at the races after we are done on Memorial day, Labor Day, or maybe over the 4th, when we are cooking out. I have 8 Coors lights left from a case we had at the finals race last September in the fridge and I tried to give them away the other day and a friend didnt want them.

I fail at drinking..

Really? That's kind of interesting. Would you be jittery or something if you didn't have that shot in the morning?

Nah, nor more than usual anyway. I've always been a little jittery in the mornings, even while my mind is clearing away the cobwebs of sleep. It's just a routine I got into long ago after a return trip from Mexico when I didn't feel like ending the vacation.

The funny thing is, I used to drink cups of espresso in the mornings and by the time I got to the office I was bouncing off the walls. I absolutely love coffee, the stronger the better, but I rarely drink it anymore because I've never had anything decaf that was worth a damn and I don't like getting so wired when I drink the coffee I like. Anyway, I very much prefer the tequila and kind of sliding into my morning routine these past years.

I usually go through a bottle of wine each week. I dont usually drink the entire thing on my own, as I like to cook with some, and usually share at least 2 or 3 glasses worth with family at dinner.

Maybe once every 4 or 5 months ill go through a small bottle of hard liquor. Maybe 3 times a year ill have a beer; i dont like any of them and will only buy them if i wish to try a recipe, so i figure i just as well drink some of it.
