The answer to this is simple. I am a slave that serves willingly, so I am not a slave. I give willingly to the community. If you are unwilling to share that load with me, then I am your slave and I do not want to serve you. Please leave my society and live on your own in the jungle. Do not avail yourself of the civilization I provide. You have a brain defect that keeps you from seeing the big picture. You have been infected by an ideological religion and have become a fanatical true believer. You have taken one single notion and extended it to an extreme that is so unbalanced and so obviously so it makes you look comical, but only because the dangerousness of your thinking has no chance to become a full blown plague. You are simply the extension of I ME ME Mine, the selfishness of ego. Your fears of the loss of your freedom happened to you long ago. You are now the slave of that fear because you carry it everywhere with you. You need a psychiatrist to help you root up your trauma, not a idealistic form of government.

For some reason, they cannot fathom that having a business which serves the public includes the ENTIRE public. Guess it sucks not to be able to put "No gays, no blacks" signs in your window.

Oh, wait, you can.....if your business is private, its clientele is from memberships, then you can choose to serve any section of the public you'd like...or none at all.

Your choice. But of course, you want it the third way, going back to the days of Jim Crow, Black Codes and Gay Codes, poll taxes, literacy tests for voting, etc. Too bad, we a civilized society have chosen a different route and I'm a sad panda that people want to crawl back to exclusionary policies with people by defining them by race, sexual orientation, etc.

One of my favorite Ayn Rand books is Anthem, a short story that ends with the following sentence.

The sacred word: EGO

Ego, is something to be celebrated. Ego is what makes life worth living.

Have you read it, Moonbeam?

Mental illness IS the worship of ones sickness. The whole reason why people stay sick is because they love being that way. You are psychologically ignorant because you can't engage in real self reflection. You worship a monster and have no idea of that fact. I realized that Ayn Rand was a fraud when I was just a kid. I told you, you are in the grips of a religion. You have put your faith in the absurd. We are very different. All the tons of shit I was fed growing up, I destroyed mercilessly and without compromise. Everything I was taught and came to believe were Truth, went down the sewer. I slayed my sacred cows. You should give it a try. Ego makes life worth living. You tickle me. Ego is fear of death. I died and have nothing to worry about. Sorry.

No, they do. But I guess in the bizarre section of the world you live in where a public business can refuse service to blacks because otherwise it would be slavery, it makes perfect sense that gays couldn't be teachers, because that would be... also slavery? I don't really know. After all, that's the real meaning of freedom; you have the freedom to be exactly like me.
