It doesn't look like this is the case, although Wolfowitz is okay. I'm also hearing that the Hotel may have been hit by 12 mortars or rockets total.Originally posted by: tnitsuj
But seriously. I am glad Wolfowitz is okay and no one appears to have been seriously hurt all kidding aside.
http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/10/26/sprj.irq.hotel/index.htmlThere were reports of serious injuries, including limb amputations, but Wolfowitz escaped unharmed and was led away from the scene by security forces, said U.S. officials.

Ya know Hagbard, there's people here who disagree with members of your government like you do with ours, and yet we don't wish for bad things to happen to them or their deaths. You can learn something from them.

Well he is the #2 civillian at the Defense department. Having something happen to him in Iraq would be extremely bad for the United States for a variety of reasons. It would show that we can't protect our officials in even the most heavily defended portions of occupied Baghdad.
That is unnacceptable IMHO.

Ah the class acts of the caring liberals...
They go right beyond calling for impeachment. They prefer terror, murder, assassination over rule of law. What a kind hearted lot when you go *really* far to the left...

Let's see, Hagbard has two legs and two arms...so is it logical to say "Ah the class acts of the caring 2-legged, 2-armed people.."?
