Ya know Hagbard, there's people here who disagree with members of your government like you do with ours, and yet we don't wish for bad things to happen to them or their deaths. You can learn something from them.

But seriously. I am glad Wolfowitz is okay and no one appears to have been seriously hurt all kidding aside.

It doesn't look like this is the case, although Wolfowitz is okay. I'm also hearing that the Hotel may have been hit by 12 mortars or rockets total.

There were reports of serious injuries, including limb amputations, but Wolfowitz escaped unharmed and was led away from the scene by security forces, said U.S. officials.

Heh, Wolfowitz and those neocon's warmongering caused so much death already and you feel bad about someone wished for bad things happen to them?

Well he is the #2 civillian at the Defense department. Having something happen to him in Iraq would be extremely bad for the United States for a variety of reasons. It would show that we can't protect our officials in even the most heavily defended portions of occupied Baghdad.

That is unnacceptable IMHO.

Sure...like the way your countrymen felt about Saddam. I'd be fine with, say, Russia dealing with your administration in the same way yours dealt with Saddam's. There, that fair enough for you?

Honestly, I'd love it.

Yeap, that would certainly make US look extremely bad. But that's what you get for invading and occupying a country. Face it, we are occupying a nation, and we are trying to make Iraqis to form a government and live their daily life the way we want them to. We'll just have to see if there are more sheeps in Iraq or more people with backbone.

Ah the class acts of the caring liberals...

They go right beyond calling for impeachment. They prefer terror, murder, assassination over rule of law. What a kind hearted lot when you go *really* far to the left...

Hmm I started to quote the second person sobbing that a member of the US Goverment wasn't killed in the attack, but then the quotes kept coming. So I'll just offer a generally directed comment "you anti-war folks can be even bigger douchebags than those you espouse to counter"..

Let's see, Hagbard has two legs and two arms...so is it logical to say "Ah the class acts of the caring 2-legged, 2-armed people.."?

Maybe if this was the "humanity and apolitical discussions" forum ;)

Live by the sword.....Wolfowitz chose his poison when he went hell bent on attacking Iraq along with the rest of the radicals who cooked up this policy of preemption. It was OK with him to send young Americans to die in Iraq so it's OK for him to do the same. He dreamed up this nightmare let him live it like he made our troops live it.

So because this is Politics and News, it's logical to assume that, because Hagbard is a Liberal (is he?), that all Liberal's share his opinions? Do all Ds, Rs, Conservatives, etc think like others in the same party?

C'mon, I'm just itching to pull out your "While you prefer innuendo, I prefer logic" quote. Or was that simply a personal attack on Hagbard/Liberals? ;)
