Like international websites.
It takes forever to load and at times says the address is invalid. When it loads fine and dandy in I.E

Then fix your computer.

The fact that FF works *flawlessly* on millions of computers around the world is a testament to your not knowing WTF you're doing. :)

My computer is fine and there is nothing to fix
PIV 3.2ghz 1gb ddr2 160gb + 160gb raid 6600gt.

Your hardware configuration tells me nothing about software problems like TCP/IP and DNS issues.

After using Firefox for a few months myself....

No way in HELL will I go back to that program called IE which is bloatware and a spyware haven that needs to get patched every week.

Only complaints I have about FF are the ridiculous memory management and the fact that randomly the downloads window doesn't close even though it's set to in prefs. Completely random.

No problems with that either.
When every piece of software I have works perfectly, besides firefox running like sh!t.

its an internet browser, i shouldn't need to TWEAK it to make it faster...it should be fast outta the box.

Too bad you don't know what the hell you're doing so you can fix that little problem, huh. :)

I like Firefox more than IE, but IMO, the difference isn't as great as the masses would have you believe.

I agree. However, consider the number of security updates IE needs just to function without the threat of it letting the internet completely fvck up your computer.

Not look at firefox. Updates? Hmm? What are those?

In the address bar, go to "about:config" and look around. Then search AT for FireFox speed tweaks.

Why is it a shame? I don't know about isekii but I'm no IT guy. I'm a finance guy with an interest in technology but I don't know the first thing about TCP/IP or configuring mac addresses. The fact of the matter is FF does exhibit this problem where IE doesn't. How is that user error? I didn't even mention the fact that FF does not work with our internal Siebel web based database but considering its a proprietary application, I don't blame them.

thats the kind of attitude more people need to have ;)

not 'IE/FF sucks ass, i hate it, and if u use it/defend it i will rip on you retardedly'

I can appreciate and see the weaknesses in both, but my personal preference is probably still for IE (although i'm typing this in FF right now ;))...

i do like my forecast fox tho' ;)

If it WERE a firefox problem, the MILLIONS who apparently use it flawlessly every day must be blind or something, right?

The problem is no browser is perfect, having these repetitive elitist threads about why one is better or not is silly. They both have problems. While IE has significantly more in the security/gateway to malware area, FF has cosmetic and operating issues as well as little security holes as well.

I use FF because it gives me the power to tweak the stuff I don't like out of it, and I'm all about that.
