Anyways, not always the case. Human Body Fat is actually quite dense compared to water. But if you take into account surface area, maybe this "myth" might have some validity. I do find that I sink a lot easier when I swim now that my body fat eprcentage is a lot lower.

thats probably debatable. Because fat people use more energy to do things like walk, etc. So you'd have to figure out how much extra you'd need to weigh above normal to make that beneficial
