Water is actually quite dense compared to Human Body Fat.
Water ~ 1 gm/cc.
Fat ~ 0.9 gm/cc.
Typical oils, fats, creams (which are fatty), etc all float on water.
What exactly is your point?Originally posted by: DaShen

You forget the your body is about 70% water and that the human body fat actually holds much more than just fat cells. It holds a lot of plasma and water. You take that into account and the fact that most people will never get over 40% body fat, where the other 60% is highly dense (bone, muscle...), and you have someone that will sink.
Do I even want to know? No, I think I definitely will not ask any questions about this.Originally posted by: loup garou

I wasn't fixing all of your post. Just that one portion. The equal density state (including air in the lungs) is right around 40-45% body fat.Originally posted by: DaShen
