I agree with Felix 100%. Hell, I think half the stuff people havenow is more in their heads then anything. Depression, ADD, irrational fear of this or that. Mainly in the gourd. Why do I say this? 50 or 100 years ago people didnt have these problems (Not to the extent they have today). Obviously, I simply wont believe these are problems which have only recently surfaced. Suddenly in the span of 10 years the human race develops ADD? Please.
Its the environment, which breeds a victimless society filled with quick fix actions. Eat right, live well and most importantly KEEP YOURSELF BUSY! Find a hobby, go outside. Too many people complain about depression, well hell man sittin in your house all day simply aint healthy!
But alas, I am but one man, and cant change overnight what society has created over time.
you're guys are both idiots.
50 to 100 years ago, society and everyday life was not like it is today. there are SO MANY differences and changes in lifestyle that it would take days to hypothesize on all of them. TV, video games, telephones, people living in closer proximity to each other, people working in cubicles, being stuck in the same monotony day in and day out. life today is not as simple as it was then. being stuck in traffic for hours on end, living in apartments, working in cubicles, longer and longer distances separating work, friends, and family, higher costs of living, higher costs of ownership. there are so many causes of depression. pressure and expectations from one's peers, family, media, etc. life is not quite as simple or carefree as it was then.
