Texashiker: I'm going to march on your bunker in wherever Texas with several loaded firearms and knock on your door.

You should assume this isn't a threat--I'm just being a patriot. You, of course, shouldn't shoot me because I have the freedom to do this. Obviously, your castle law shouldn't supersede my 2nd amendment right, correct?

Supercede? No but the two arent mutually exclusive anyway.

Come on over, I know a place we can go target shooting.

Or, maybe we can talk guns while smoking a brisket.

~ EDIT ~

My wife and I are moving over the next three weeks, so now would be a bad time. We are however throwing a post-moving party around October. If you wish, you are welcome to attend that party and bring whatever firearm you wish.

What county are you in? Im halfway done moving to east texas myself!

Post video of gun, get raided and arrested for drugs?

Talk about grasping at straws and looking for anything in some poor attempt to harass and get even or teach a lesson. Shit is hilarious.

As much as I philosophically support his cause, he's a dumbass for sticking his neck out. Things arent Egypt bad here yet to have a million armed citizens flooding the streets yet, which means you stay low and fight from the shadows in the mean time.

Placate and play along, regroup, fight back on your own terms. You aren't useful to your cause being a lone ranger ending up dead or in jail.
I wonder what the search warrant was for? Your Honor, we believe there are drugs at this guy's place, because he's just gotta be high on something.

The Washington Post reports that authorities found hallucinogenic mushrooms inside Kokesh’s home.

Well that explains everything.

So, did law enforcement have a *reasonable* suspicion that these mushrooms, or drugs existed to convince a judge for a search warrant?
OR, do you simply go to a judge and say, your Honor, this dude just pissed us off. Oh, and BTW your Honor, we also want the ability to seize
cell phones, computers, etc,etc,etc.
The point I am trying to make is; is merely disagreeing with the government, and so stating now a punishable offense?

LOL. Honey, I just pissed off the USA government big time, but hey, no need to flush, or hide the drugs for they could never get a warrant to bust down our door for just that reason.

It's just a punishable offense to disagree with THIS government. The Obama government, the most corrupt government we've had in the last 50 years. The government that has done more to erode the Constitutional rights of it's citizens since FDR was in office tossing Americans of Japanese heritage into camps.

Thank god, another de-assimilated nutjob arrested. It sounds like this one would have been violent at some point in the future, too.

Fear tends to progressively gnaw at people. When someone experiences anxiety at the thought of a possible negative outcome sometimes intentional actions are taken to hasten this possible outcome. This occurs because overtime the building anxiety of the possible negative outcome eclipses the outcome itself.

These people fear that their guns may be forcibly taken from them at some point in the future. The anxiety is so heavy in their minds that it causes distress greater than it actually occurring.

By engaging in an illegal provocation they will get one of two outcomes. Their guns will be taken away removing the anxiety or nothing will happen lessening the anxiety for at least a time.

Emotional appeal is an old trick that still works well. Logically there will not be mass weapon seizure (although I wish I lived in a gun-free society), but by hooking into peoples' feelings rather than their logic they are able to make the impossible seem possible.

The first thing that Stephen Colbert said in his show that satires Fox News was, "I'm not going read the news to you, I'm going to FEEL the news AT you!"

What a moron. Idiot obviously goads the government. Has illegal substances in his house and doesn't think that maybe he should have gotten his house in order before he thinks he can rub the government's nose in the dirt.

he wasn't merely "disagreeing." Right or wrong, it's perfectly reasonable to interpret his publicized actions as a direct threat. Hell, a Durham student was once visited by the Secret Service because some young "patriot" reported her as a threat because she had some anti-Bush posters on her apartment walls.

...but this kind of thing probably isn't all that unusual.

File this under "play stupid games, win stupid prizes."

Did you read that list of scandals before you posted it? I don't want to go all but...but...Bush, but it's so easy. His list of administration scandals is 5 times the length of Obama's. Granted he had 8 years to rack them up compared to Obama's 4. The same can be said of St. Ronnie's list as well. Most corrupt administration in 50 years is quite a reach.
