Do tell. Use something that is factual for once though, if you can manage it.

Do you know who Wade Rathke is and can you name two organizations he started?

He started Acorn and established one chapter of SEIU, an organization that had started 27 years before Wade was born.
"SEIU Local 100 organizes public sector public workers, including school employees, Head Start, and health care workers, as well as lower wage private sector workers in the hospitality, janitorial, and other service industries."
What a monster. Those people should be praying to corporations for the privilege of being taken advantage of.

Might want to check your time line again buddy...

Wade Rathky was born in 1948 and the Service Employees International Union was started in 1968

Love this one. Charlie Gibson thought the Acorn story was to sleazy for network TV. Better left for cable TV.

Link
This morning, the ACORN scandal was raised to Charlie Gibson in an interview on WLS AM Chicago?s ?Don Wade & Roma Morning Show.?

Don: Ok here?s my question, Senate bill yesterday passes cutting off funds to this group called ACORN. Now we got the?we got that bill passing, we got the embarrassing video of ACORN staff giving tax advice on how to set up a brothel with 13 year old hookers. It has everything you could want corruption and sleazy action at tax funded organizations that?s got government ties. But nobody?s covering that story why?

Charlie Gibson: (laugh) I don?t even know about it. Uh, so you got me at a loss, I don?t know. Uh, uh, but, but My goodness if it?s got everything including sleaziness in it we should talk about it this morning.

Roma: This is the American way?

Charlie Gibson: Well maybe, maybe that?s one you just leave to the cables.

Roma: Well I think that this is a huge issue because there?s so much funding that goes into this organization and it?s a multi?

Charlie Gibson: Well, I know we?ve done some stories about ACORN before but uh, uh this one I don?t know about.

Roma: Jake Tapper did some blogging on it. I know he?s at least blogged once on this scandal.

Charlie Gibson: You guys, you guys are really up on the uh on the website.

He started both Acron and SEIU Local 100 (not the entire union, just one of the largest locals).

IF true, this should get interesting.

You have people walking down your street telling strangers about a video of Barbara Boxer murdering? I doubt that. You heard it in a sleazy place you want to hide under the phrase 'on the street', I'd say is more likely. Where exactly did you hear this 'on the street' news?

You realize of coud your post is just yet another troll post, further confirming the irrationality of our nutty righties.

Someone else used to do this a ton, riprorin. It is fucking annoying no matter what the subject is or who is doing it. Do like everyone else and paste a URL and just add your commentary, no need to copy and paste the entire articles into P&N.

Where did I say Barbra Boxer murdered someone?

Did the video mention murder? Check.
Did the video mention Barbara Boxer? Check.

Did the video mention murder and Barbara Boxer? Check.

Was I correct that this video would be released? Check.
Did I post a link to the mentioned video once it was made available? Check.

Not really sure what your problem is but you cannot change the subject and try and turn this into a personal attack. It won't work.

There is a rumor that Barbara Boxer raped and murdered a young boy in 1990. Apparently she drugged the boy.

People who do that are incapable of discussing the issues because they actually don't know the issues. They just believe what they are told to believe. Which is why they just post articles (other peoples' words).

I love this reply:

"Isn't it amazing that our politicians are in bed with the least educated, least ambitious, least moral of the citizenry of our country? ACORN and others like it are simply organizations that cater to the bottom feeders of the USA. The fact that our President surrounds himself with this type of group speaks volumes about who he is."

Wow, MSNBC is finally reporting this story this morning. Took them long enough.

Of course they put their own wierd spin on the story: ".. Acorn, long a target of concervative talk radio .."

It looks like house and senate members are running away from ACORN like the plague. I've yet to hear anybody defend them except acorn themselves, their defense is the people who shot the video and any network that covers the story is racist.

I listened to some guy yesterday and he had the head of acorn on for the full hour. The crap coming out of her (acorn head) mouth was just disgusting.

Just saw that local law enforcement confirmed that none of the spouses of anyone in the video is dead. She was playing along with the video tapers and said as much after the story came out. Wonder what that means about the rest of the tape?

You need to learn the difference between spin and facts.

You need to learn the difference between fact based reporting and spin.

Instead of commenting on the actual crimes being suggested by the ACORN people in the videos, the most important "facts" about the story are that conservative radio has been targeting ACORN.

It isn't spin unless they are jumping to biased conclusions based on the facts. Lol it isn't spin to report facts.

Um, no.

Spin:
7.To provide an interpretation of (a statement or event, for example), especially in a way meant to sway public opinion: ?a messenger who spins bogus research into a vile theology of hatred? (William A. Henry III).

The headline was spin. It's an effort to cast doubt on the tapes from the start and cast ACORN as the victim.

This.

They are using facts but they are using them to influence in a certain direction, which is away from the actual story.

Ok if that is the case and it was the headline then yeah my bad. I would consider that spin. There was no link to the story and when you mentioned it, you never said that it was the headline...you just said it was in the story.

Acorn has frozen hiring and loan intake applications pending an internal review.
Seem to be feeling the heat.
