Wow, really! And then an important guy like you has time to post here? I'm really impressed!

Hey, tell us how your negotiations go with people like Hillary. Please, please, please?
The sales tactic that I described is not something exclusive to the rich and powerful. It's a classic long con.

Yes, I think the filibuster has to be eliminated and the sooner the better. That holds even if, god forbid, Trump somehow wins in November.

That's foolish. As much as Repubs abuse it, we need it to keep them from implementing what truly is a radical agenda.

It's foolish to think they would allow it to stand in the way of a radical agenda.

This is basic good governance. The filibuster is making it impossible to get anything done. It should have never existed to begin with and should be abolished today if not sooner.

You are the one who thinks he is always right and posts off the cuff all the time, irregardless of what anyone else says.

That is a very high perch.

Good to see I influenced you to post more confidently. Just be careful you don't make any mistakes while on that high perch because the fall could be more catastrophic to your ego if you don't know how to handle it.

Speaking of confidence scams, this guy looks to be a decent mark for them.

If you stray too far from the globalist agenda they're going to assassinate you or your family members, meanwhile if you play ball you can be rich, gain fame, and go out with a bang.. given the choices I know which one I would take. There's relatively few people around that could resist the temptation of money and power that comes along with one's position and stick to morals in the face of the pressure to play ball with the globalist agenda.. I'd probably be a nice little globalist pawn on the chessboard and play my part as expected. I guess I'm corruptible. :) Unfortunately my people skills aren't polished and people skills are what make the powerful stay powerful more than anything.

If only we were all more like you. The world would be a better place wouldn't it?

If only everyone were as smart as you, instead of falling for confidence scams, the world would be better off.

So you come on these forums to regale us with your wisdom and intelligence in your attempt to make the world a better place.

Trump, your favorite subject to insult, thinks the same way. That if only everyone were more like him, everyone could be financially successful and the world would be a better place. Evidence: Trump University. Much like you and your inflated sense of self to the point of overtly insulting people's intelligence on these boards without even a modicum of evidence, Trump is sure he knows how to make America great again. Although he doesn't show the evidence as to how he will do that.

He, like you, loves to insult people. Only it's obvious that insulting people isn't how you make America great again isn't it? He doesn't insult people to make America great again, but to make himself believe he is better than he actually is. To inflate his ego because it feels good.

You never miss an opportunity to insult multiple posters on these boards on a daily basis. Much like him, you're really trying to inflate your own ego, not trying to make anything great again. We have a word for people like that: Narcissist. You think too highly of yourself. You think everyone but you is flawed because you haven't reached the level of introspection yet to see this is not so. You haven't realized yet that you're just as flawed as the rest of us because you manged to lie to yourself and believe that lie.

Although part of you realizes that everyone including you is flawed, you fight against it by lashing out at others trying to find fault in them in a vain attempt to make yourself feel superior. But it doesn't work. The feeling doesn't last. So you have to keep at it day after day. Don't believe me? Go ahead read all of your posts and see for yourself how many overt insults of intelligence you've lobbed at everyone you disagreed with on these boards.

Now where is your evidence that I have fallen for any scams?

I do wonder if you thought this question through, since by your own reasoning that would mean I'd run out of people to look down on. I mean, it's already ironic enough that you attempt to do what you're criticizing in the very same post, which is some delicious unintentional self-parody, then to fail at even that.

Now where is your evidence that I have fallen for any scams?

The combination of overconfidence & incompetence certainly can't help.

You really don't get it do you? Every single statement you just made are wrong. Ever one of them. I do not reason that you'd run out of people to look down on. You just did that and tried to project your reasoning onto me. You wouldn't run out of people to look down on. New people join the boards all the time not to mention you could look down on the same people over and over again.

I am not doing what I'm criticizing you of so there is no self parody going on here by me. You mean you really hadn't noticed that I didn't overtly insult your intelligence the way you do? I don't do that because I don't need to inflate my own ego the way you do.

What overconfidence? What incompetence?

When you were comparing me to trump, were you of the mind that trump could so easily do this to you? If not, it's worth considering if there's something you don't understand about the situation, and approach it with a sense of curiosity instead of certainty. For example, following your own reasoning, why would I want more intelligent people if I so enjoy insulting those lacking it? Really take some time to think about this until you reply here looks rather foolish. Then consider if your reply is closer to what Donald Trump would come up with (eg. I'm not dumb/overconfident/incompetent, ur the same x/y/z), or what I would. Follow by doing the same to your next reply; my advice would be to iterate until it's not something the donald would say.

TBH, I never noticed that the intelligence of the other person mattered to you when you insulted them. The only thing that mattered was that they had a different worldview. You may find it hard to believe but intelligent people can have a different worldview than you.

I do not mean that as a pejorative either. Half the fun of this forum for me is reading the creativity and wit of clever putdowns.

That may very well be true, but it would certainly effect their susceptibility to mockery. You might notice that really the only thing I tend to mock anyone about is cocksure confidence in wrong beliefs, which is rather apropos given it's a discussion forum discussing who is right or wrong. It just so happens there's quite a bit of it here.

Are we supposed to be impressed by what YOU (and your collective of 'progressive' UberLeft friends) consider "wrongthink"?

Shame and vitriol is a pretty un-convincing argument.

That's pretty good point, on reflection it's true you remain unconvinced by any sort of thinking.

Me: shaming is an unconvincing tactic
that guy: [shames anyway]

*siggghhhh*

Let me see if I have this right. I'm accusing you of lacking the cognitive facilities to grasp why you might be wrong, and your reply is this isn't anything to be ashamed about. Similarly, you've been called out for standing with and defending people rather fond of ethnic cleansing, and presumably you're not ashamed of that either.

So what exactly constitutes "convincing" to you? Seems it's pretty obviously a combination of massaging those insecurities about getting left out of any new world order that's not white & male at the top, and giving you a sign to hold & protest this.
