So they go about testing the water by jumping into the shallow end of the gene pool from the cliffs of Alcapolco ?

A german mine that, when tripped, shot out of the ground to chest height and then exploded, sending BB's around in a sort of 360 degree claymore mine. Very deadly.

You didn't answer my question. Do you think the Democratic party would have the support of the American people if you voted to pull out the troops in six months? It's a very easy binary question. IMHO, if you tried your side would be absolutely crucified in the next elections.

I was just about to post that.... you have to remember, glenn1 is a True Believer(TM), like Pabsy and Zendari. They have their blinders on when it comes to the Iraq War, the Economy, anything that might reflect unfavorably on their Lord and Savior.

Well, I am sure their blind hope that their neocon hero nixon would be avenged comes into play also, too bad.

Sucks it took so long for good americans to wake up though.

Some are hopelessly lost though, I dunno what these hardliners are going to do with themselves after, probaly follow around whatever non-right-wing president is next and try to smear them again in a stalkerfest.

Well, apparently the congressional repubs don't have your confidence, glenn1, otherwise they'd allow a vote on Murtha's original bill... they control the agenda. If you're right, they wouldn't need a substitute measure, now would they?

Then go for it. Let's see how the numbers look when you get done, and the abstract question of "should the troops be withdrawn" becomes a concrete question of how do we do it and the reality what's being proposed starts hitting people.

Can't, and that's been pointed out repeatedly, and repeatedly ignored on your part. The repubs control the agenda in the HOR, and simply won't allow a vote on Murtha's original resolution. Why Not?

As suspected...it's a BS ploy by the Republicans:

http://rawstory.com/other/pdfs/GOPpulloutrawstory.pdf
Seems to be the resolution the democrats have been asking for....
How so?

Name me the Dems (and back it up with proof) that want an IMMEDIATE PULLOUT of all troops back to the U.S. (which I assume this resolution means). And I mean IMMEDIATE...not a gradual withdrawal.

You see, this resolution mentions nothing of redeployment. It's a ploy by the GOP.

????
I have already responded, but thanks for playing.
See bolded text above. And stop playing games. That's all the GOP and its lackies can do nowadays. The truth is foreign to them.

Seems he already did respond and he would be talking about Murtha, not to mention other far left democrats like Kucinich.

Seems to be a common problem lately with the leftists, especially when it comes to the issue of what was said regarding Iraq.

Murtha is far left? Murtha is and always has been a Hawk, this is crap, pure and simple crap... "shock and awe" tactics penned last week for this weeks "agenda" or talking points as it were. Anything or anybody that states the facts.. like this war is a disaster is obviously leftist..... its crap. The congress should get on with the work of the people and stop with this horseshit politcal one upsmanshit...

Then again they voted out a bunch of programs for the poor and want to extend tex reductions for the wealthy......... Hell let em fight.

I'm sure people like you ate up his little loony rant. I wonder how it would play on real TV, not just c-span.

Come on Democrats, show us what you feel about this issue, quit hiding your real feelings. Sure, we have elections coming up next year, but come on, show people how you believe and feel.

Sounds about right since Kucinich is one of the most passionate, honest politicians out there, right along side Howard Dean. And I'd rather have someone who loves his country raising his voice them some sleazy ex-CEO telling his peers, "Fvck you."
