I thought this was interesting. Not only is he jewish, but a rabbi and he admits that Israel is no saint. I agree with his solution except for the reparations part

I'm glad to see more balanced voices coming from the Jewish community. I hope there are Isreali's who understand what is being said in this article.

There is enough evil, violence and just plain ugly stupidity on both the Isreali and Palestinian sides to keep the fires of hatred burning for centuries unless outside forces separate them and force them to wake up to the realities they face if they're going to continue their very existances.

2) The Arab states are to blame for the refugee problem. Keep in mind that Lebanon won't let Palestinians integrate into their sociey.

There is a decided Palestinian slant from what I have experienced, but less so than the pro-Israel slant that some of our members on here show..They do admit that the Palestinians have committed heinous acts, but they would like everyone else to know of the Israeli acts that get swept under the rug... Everyone I know on the egyptian soccer board is pretty much opposed to the suicide bombing of civilians. They, nor I, have a problem with them using suicide bombing against Israeli's with tanks, helicopters and automatic weapons...(Eventually you get tired of throwing rocks and getting shot)

They are fighting back the Israeli occupation with the only resources they have, their lives and explosives. I think it is an abomination when they do this and kill 5 year olds, but I also view it as an abomination when an Israeli tank rolls over a man in a wheelchair and shoots a nurse while she attempts to help someone.

Both sides suck...

You can find different opinions like that in the Jewish Community daily. Thats why Israel is a democracy.
