TeAm AnandTech just moved ahead of the Czech National Team on Universe@Home.

Thirteen members kept a little something working on Universe to make this happen.

Congratulations, guys

What's our next project and when does it start?

Yafu could also use our attention but it's esoteric math project. The app is multithreaded which is also somewhat unique in the boinc world.

I just tried yafu. It's the NFS applications which already run hot on my PC. Multithreaded runs even hotter, ~66C. I forgot to check memory usage.

I forgot that I had my computers set to grab work from CAS if there is ever any available. Nice! :)

Leiden Classical it is ... I'll collect the starting stats @ 18:00 UTC.
I've prolonged the race so that we may have a chance to collect 6 points ...

Kool. Thanks petrusbroder.

Is Leiden the one that gets mad if you manually tell it to update?

Also is it the one that takes a while to build up workunits?

Ha Ha! I've got 2.5 hours to bunker!!! :D

In other news, I've JUST gotten a new, more efficient HVAC system installed, might try to keep ahead of biodoc this time. :)

Here are the individual stats:

In the previous leg with Leiden Classical we have produced just above 1 M points. That should suffice for 3 points, but if we want to gain 6 points we have to up the production. I have all my CPU-cores on Leiden Classical ...
In the previous leg we produced, during the 6 best days just above 100K/day. That should put our production at around 1.5 million this time, since it takes a few days to increase production due to quorum of 3 (IIRC), which sometimes takes time ...

We have gained two more points in Universe@Home!, and we have kept the 3rd in NFS!

Hmm. Not getting any work for Leiden Classical. I signed up yesterday, set the priority on it and left it, figuring I would get work once my primegrid units wound down. This morning, my box is idle, all my other work completed (set all my other projects to no new work). Anyone having any issues? TIA.

Also, thanks petrusbroder for all the organization and stats.

Some of us have problems getting WUs ... that is quite typical for Leiden Classical. It should sort it self out in a day or two ... I hope.

Not too bad - very comparable to the start in Leiden Classical #1.

Still nothing from Leiden. Increased the priority to 5x the next project and it hasn't made a difference. Oh well. :p

It sure will be nice when my computers can start getting some work instead of sitting there doing nothing! :(

Here are some interesting stats about the top-producers of today in Leiden Classical:

The TeAm has today four crunchers among the top-10, 6 among the top-20 and 8 among the top-31. Going well, isn't it?
