Now we have time to take part in the Penthatlon too ...

Whoa, I was gearing up for the NFS race, but totally forgot about the Pentathlon event.

So to be clear to all, NFS doesn't start until May 19 (should we move that to 20th since the Pentathlon overlaps that day?)

And are we counting the "P-vent" as one of our internal races? Be harder for Pete to track if we did..
 
Well, the Pentathlon ends May 19, at 0:00 UTC, and the NFS race starts May 19, at 18:00 UTC. May be a little short for whatever overhaul or service or oil change you had in mind ...

Well, I had not thought the Pentathlon as one of our Trophy Belt races - I had in mind that the Trophy Belt Race would be for Formula-BOINC.
But I do accept other proposals and ideas ...

I have experienced at least 300 WUs with errors in NFS - the WU quits after 5 - 15 seconds with a "computation error". Have aborted all WUs - moved on ... to Malaria Control.

I've had 4 unknown errors that happened over 3 days. I isolated it to the use of Google Chrome which stuttered while displaying a video. Hasn't happened with Iceweasel.

The computers are only running BOINC and the projects. No browsers, no other programs, Win7 stripped of everything that can be safely taken away in order to maximize RAM and CPU-cycles-
 
I stopped running NFS because the project said I had passed my goal of 2.5 million credits. But now it says I only have about 2.35 million, so I'll put a few computers back on it later to get to my goal (again).
 
Thanks Tony. I'll try that --- the problem is that I have uploaded tons of pics (>75 MByte) for use in this forum ... and all those links are broken now.
Well, may that be as it is, I'll re-upload the pics in this thread - I hope I have those all in one place ...
