Heck if I lived closer I'd do it for free....except I would require fresh chocolate chip cookies.
I have a car that was designed to have ease of maintenace....I am a fast wrench and my alternator takes 30mins..maybe 40...but I can't get the car up on jackstands, the wheel off, battery disconnected, the alternator cover off, the two bolts, one ground nut, and a plug off and reversed in 15mins.....if you can do that, how the heck does the battery take you 10?
On alot of cars an alternator is a few hour job...on some spark plugs take a few hours or more.
I assume being 1 airbag and 1 horn needs to be done perhaps a short circuit or accident. Used airbags are alot cheaper, just got to make sure you aren't buying from a chop shop if you have morals
Re-read, being that you have a 01 Civic you should be able to find a driver's airbag....being in CA even easier....wear one of your costumes and maybe a 'ricer' guy will just give it to you
