Whoo hoo, bonus!! :D

Did anyone else get a year-end bonus?

This is my very first, and I'm pretty excited about it... I hope it's enough to give my car an oil change/40,000 mile tuneup/new battery/new alternator/new airbag/new horn. *crosses fingers*

:)

crap...that much is wrong with the clunker?

Yes, the salvage has significantly less reliable as of late. :( I've already used up my 4 yearly AAA roadside assistance calls for jumps, tows, etc. *sigh*

:Q its only the end of january!!

Sorry about the confusion, I meant the yearly allowance from the time I purchased the membership... I've been a member for 4 months, but I used 3 of the service calls within the past month.

2001 / Honda / Civic LX Coupe

Salvage... been in 2 major accidents. :( Currently at 40,000 miles and climbing.

Nice car until I read the SALAVE.

I will NEVER EVER buy a salvage titled car again.

AMEN... preach it, brother... nor will I, lesson learned the hard way. :|:(

Yeah mine was still having a job in 2004 unlike my 11 co-workers that were laid off just before x-mas.

You only receive 4 calls per year for AAA membership, is this true?

Yessir, that is correct. Anything over that, they charge you $40 for. :(

That is BS but I can see it from their point of view, that anything more than 4 calls is not cost effective.

Save up some dough and buy a more reliable car. Dare I say it, a used Nissan Maxima.

M4H will never forgive me now :brokenheart:

Taken in perspective, that's a pretty good bonus. :(

How much would a used, reliable Nissan Maxima run me? Thx for the tip Ross... it'll be awhile before I can afford a big-ticket item, but I'm working on saving/fiscal responsibility. M4H loves you, and will understand.

I have a feeling that he's cheating on me with Zim Hosein and/or conjur while Fausto videotapes their escapades, I feel so used!

Wow, thats some serious milage. Well, at least when compared to my '93 mazda truck with 87,000 miles.
Congrats on the bonus. I received mine back in Dec for almost $2500.
