suck. i just tried switching out but they wouldn't let me. It's multi-variable calculus. I have to pretty much use my fingers to stretch my eye-lids open.

You did it during high school, you can do it during college. I don't understand why college kids all of a sudden can't wake up.

I couldn't do it in high school either. My chemistry teacher was always annoyed at me for dozing. I think it might be a nutritional problem or something.

Try going to bed at 11. That gives you an hour to get ready and get to class and still get 8 hours of sleep.

because they are too stupid to go to sleep. I have never understood the need for kids to stay up till 4 in the morning and then start whining about how early it is when I go to my 10am class....

Im hoping that one of these days I get some roomates that understand the concept of sleep and why it is important.

Ummm...what do you expect in the work world?

Either way...that class should be a cake walk...unless you cheated your way through calc 1 and 2.

I had a real hard time staying awake in the morning. I would drink a cup of coffee and eat a pop tart.

I started eating a full breakfast and I had tons of energy. I didn't even need the coffee anymore.

The difference between me putting a bunch of time in and practically no time at all is also the difference between an A and a B.

I have my core Financial Accounting class at 8 a.m. m-th every week. 8'oclock isn't bad...get used to it...real life often starts earlier than that.

Because you don't need to absorb much information in higschool or at your job. Try following multi varible calculus (or any other difficult subject) at 8am in top-10 program...

I had Grad macroeconomics last semester at 8am... never made it on time.

getting to work today by 7 am while the kids were up until 2 am sucks also.

That does suck! I am sorry. 🙁

it was atypical, since i had to log in to work from home between 10 pm and midnight and everyone's bedtime schedule got waaaaaaaay pushed back.

Drink coffee. Lots of coffee

I've never had coffee in my life. Will it really help much?

yes

and 8am classes really do suck, 50% of my senior year in HS i didnt have a class beofre noon, it was really annoying getting used to getting up at 8m for class after that

but after freshmen year you can normally get around it

Does it really matter? multivariable calc is multivariable calc at any half decent college.

Yeah because you're competing against other people in your class and they're all very smart. There's a reason why 4.0 in community college doesn't translate to 4.0 at MIT.

I had a 7:30 am class freshman year. Terrible mistake. After that I avoided morning classes like the plague
