If patterns mean anything, then I am pretty stoked for the 880 gtx. Good memories with the 8800 series.

For those with a 680gtx SLI setup, I can't see going to a single 780 gtx ti...unless you just have an upgrade itch. :)

Realistically speaking,I think the only face-off worth a look at this generation is aftermarket overclocked 780ti's versus 290x.Something like Classified and HOF versus the Toxic (Or Vapor-x) and Lightning. These are the cards enthusiasts/gamers will mostly buy,not reference ones. We'll be able to compare without worrying about throttling, overheating and performance fluctuations.Bring it on AIBs!

Thing is,both the 290x and 780ti have quite more performance than 99% of the people that will buy them need.I won't need my 290x for 1080p gaming, but who cares?

lol, except he's got me beat by a couple hundred pounds and a couple hundred million I'm sure

EVGA 780 back plate fits the Ti for anyone who cares about such silly things. Now one of my 780's is naked

That...seems.....unnecessary.

Lava you have a Kill-a-watt? Also, want to race? :p

my battery back up gives me power usage

We can race. Are you referring to the GT 500 and my 911? Regardless of who's car is quicker in any given race, I'm willing to bet panties drop faster for mine =)

Nice looking mud toy, I have a Raptor 660 myself

It has hardware OCP that is active at 580W board power. There is a 99% chance you cannot kill it. Though a voltage spike could always bust one of your chokes or mosfets even as low as 1.3v.

Heres a card throttling down to 580W at 1550mhz at 1.6V with 600W pegged out

I am hitting the power limit. The card hits the power limit all on it's own.

What are you running that causes it to hit the power limit? The only time I hit the power limit on my Titans is when stressing with Unigine benchmarks. Even then it's only for a split second.

It happens with a single card configuration with heavy overclocks and vsync turned off. I'd imagine Tri-SLI changes things quiet a bit in terms of hitting the power limit, as the load is more evenly distributed between 3 cards..

every game even at stock clocks the cards voltage and speed is constantly fluctuating. Even changing the power target to 106 still throttles

Tomb Raider
Batman AO
Crysis 3
Metro LL
3d mark Firestrike.

That's all I've tried

Is the voltage regulation system on all reference GK110 cards the same? Are there differences?

Power Balancing calibration between 8pin, 6pin & PCI-E slot current is only on 780ti. Ti has more chokes, caps & fets and a modified TDP regulation scheme. Same buck controller on all 3, but all 3 PCBs are different. Registers in AB controlling LLC & overvoltage are different in the new Ti bios. Waterblocks fit 780/Titan wont fit a 780Ti without drilling out or modding it. Some PCB differences:
