Thanks for running the race again this year (last year) peter. Was a fun race.
It's been a mild winter so far in Chicago, and with the addition of some new hardware, my furnace remained off for December. Sure the bedrooms were on the cool side, but I sleep better when it is cold.

Congrats to the TeAm for the strong performance. If there are any other races coming up I'd love to join. Was a lot of fun.

Good question. I just put all 20 cores on correlizer. Keeping my gpu's on f@h since they keep my place nice and warm. Any other projects I should be folding/crunching on?

SIMAP is a good one to jump on at the 1st of each month. It usually has a week to 10 days worth of work each month.

This month they start on 5 January.

I'm at poem@home for awhile. The have openCL GPU apps now but I'm having a heck of a time getting them to work on my machines.

Right now there is support for ati and nvidia cards on linux and ati cards on windows with nvidia coming soon. Apparently you need cards that support openCL 1.1 or later and it appears you need boinc version 7.0.x or later. I haven't been able to get the latest versions of boinc to run on my linux boxes (all kubuntu now). Gnome unity was driving me nuts so I've tried opensuse and now am using kubuntu.

Also, it appears you need to dedicate a core for the gpu app using ncpu in a cc_config.xml.

Congrats everyone on a great race! 🙂

Good to see some of the new racers still Folding.

Now to start planning upgrades for next year. Let's see if I can quintuple my output again... 😉
