However this is not a case where a sueing of a company can win (My wife don't think so though, and she will be talking with her attorney.)
Personally if I lose my finger no ammount of money will ever make up for it. I just hope it does not come down to it.
Right now the finger is all swollen and has no movement or feeling. I even poked it with a needle and it did not even bleed nor did I feel anything. The base part of my hand has feeling though, and it really hurts. >>
Good God man. The thought of you even entertaining the idea of trying to pass blame on someone other than yourself and your child is disturbing. Two things should happen here: 1) Your child - or whoever is responsible for picking up toys in the living room - should be made aware of the seriousness of such actions to avoid such thing repeating itself in the future. 2) Pay attention. If you have young children, you should know full well that toys can get left lying around and people can get hurt by stepping on them. The first thing you should do is get rid of the glass coffee table, because the injury was not caused by the toy car, it was the glass that did the damage to your finger.
