I can't find a Dell coupon with free shipping anywhere for Home OR for Small business.
I checked the FW thread that Rossman linked, code did not work, and I've been to all the usual places

TechB's
Ben's B's
DealSpree
NaughtyCodes
CurrentCodes

and probably a few others.
Was hoping to get this with free shipping so I could take the one I bought at CrapUSA back and not have to PM with Blue.

<< I ordered from Dell, but they're not shipping until March 4. I'll still be ok w/the coupon, which requires purchase by 2/28, won't I? >>

That's a good question. Since they don't charge your credit card till the item ships you'll be out of the rebate deadline. :Q

Just got off the phone with Dell. The csr that I spoke with said that the order date is the same as the purchase date regardless of when the item ships. I hope they aren't jerking me around. :disgust:

Get a PCMCIA 3.5" reader thingy on eBay. The cheap ones use ISA boards though so you might not want it. I have one with a PCMCIA 802.11b card for my server. But I also have one of those PCMCIA<->CompactFlash adapters. With one of those you would be rolling... Unfortunately the PCMCIA<->SmartMedia adapters aren't cheap so if you need more than CompactFlash or can't use ISA look elsewhere...

But what the hell is the deal with the free shipping? How come most of you seem to be getting it but a few of us aren't? Hrm...?!?

looking at this deal, it comes down to this

Small Business: 39.95 with free shipping - rebate = 19.95 (-15% unless u have a unique code)

while

Home: 39.95-10% = 36ish +5.50 shipping = $42 - rebate = $22

Remember 2% ebates

Dont' forget for Small Business there's Tax, unless you are lucky enough to live in a tax free state. So for me the deal from Home is better.

<< Free shipping is on all software and peripherals on the Small Business page. >>

Thanks. Must be a cookie problem... I was going off of ebates.com. Don't know what the deal is... Or is it a popup that comes when you visit the small business page? Hrm.

Perhaps I have been hitting the crack pipe a little too hard lately, but I can't find any way to get free shipping from the Small Business section of the Dell page.
The guys over at FW have been saying it's free OVERNIGHT shipping, which would be a super deal, but it's not one I can find anywhere.
W T F ?

I see it at the very top of Dell Small Business, see it?

<< could someone please PM the 15% coupon code?

TIA
>>

The 15% coupon code is unique and can only be used once. Look up above as it mentions how to get one but I signed up last night and only so far received a welcome email without any coupon code.

I just end up getting it through Home, as the 10% coupon and no tax I saved $.50 vs the free shipping and tax from Small Business.

Yea, the deal with the email newsletter was posted 3 weeks back and might be outdated. I just broke down and order it as it was still a good deal.

All, the free ship is for ground only at Small Business. THe 15% coupon I have is a unique code for use up to 5 times. I received it in an e-mail from Dell.
I ordered mine with the 15% coupon and free ground shipping - came out to $16 and change.

Does this just read or can it write too? This was asked before but I don't think it was answered. Everything I read says "reader".

xing, this thing reads and writes. I'm going to use mine to download pics from my CF digital camera and set up my music for SM MP3 player!
My camera doesn't have drivers for Windows 2000 or XP so this should be a great substitute.

Aha! That's what I wanted to hear. I want to be able to copy stuff to my CF card for my IPAQ. This will work nicely and give room for any other format I might encounter in the future :)
