Yes, they do, because the Palestinians have no sense of logic or thought. I don't give a flying fsck if you have been living in refugee camps for the last 50 years. Move somewhere else. Save up money and get your ass out of Palestine. Or better yet, stay and behave like PEOPLE. Normal people do not blow themselves up in crowded civilian market places. This is not a war, no matter how you twist the term. The Israelis look for security. So do the Palestinians. What the Palestinians (a.k.a sh!t for brains) do not realize is that once they stop the terror attacks, Israel won't attack them. Right now, I'm all for Israel shipping the Palestinian asses out of the country. They no longer behave like people, but like crazed animals. If they put all that money and thought into building their own infrastructure and stop preaching hate to their children, they would not have little kids running around with Kalashnikov's and bandanas.

As for Israel, it needs to stop going into Palestinian territory. Instead, it should merely build a 50 ft wall, 20 ft thick. Shoot anyone who dares to cross it. Worked well enough for Germany. The only way to control a wild animal is to fence it.
 
500 terrorists or civilians? Catch the idea? Erakat doesn't differentiate between terrorists and civilians. Israel is in there for one purpose: to defend it's borders and citizens from savage murderers that strap explosive devices to themselves and detonate these devices without regard for themselves or their innocent victims. Islam has done nothing to foster peace with Israel...it's not a peaceful religion. The very center-piece of Islam's existence is: convert or conquer.

Islam Regarding the Jews:

- Jews are the enemy of Allah. (so are Atheists, Christians, Buddhists, and anyone who is not Islamic)

- Islam is fighting a continuous religious war against the Jews.

- The killing of Jews is a religious obligation.

- Palestinians are the vanguard in this war against the Jews, and all Islamic nations are obligated to assist in this war.


What Islam Teaches Regarding Israel:

- All of the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea (which includes all of Israel) is a religious Waqf -- an Islamic religious trust. Any Moslem who relinquishes any part to Israel is damned to Hell eternally.

- All agreements with Israel are inherently temporary in nature, and are signed only because of Israel's temporary balance of power advantage.

- Allah will "replace" Moslems who shirk their obligation to battle Israel.

- The ultimate destruction of Israel is a certainty.

The Palestinians repeatedly use Islamic sources to defend this religious hatred, even demanding the killing of Jews as a current obligation and the will of Allah. At least four times in recent months, Palestinian religious leaders have taught publicly that the following Hadith (Islamic traditions attributed to Mohammed) is an authoritative directive of Islam today, expressing Allah's will that obedient Moslems kill Jews. According to Sheikh Muhammed Abd al Hadi La'afi, quoted in the official P.A. newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida (May 18, 2001), and Dr. Muhammed Ibrahim Madi, delivering the main Friday sermon on Palestinian TV, the Hadith itself states:

"The Day of Resurrection will not arrive until the Moslems make war against the Jews and kill them, and until a Jew hiding behind a rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: 'Oh Moslem, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!'"

On Palestinian TV (March 30, 2001) the preacher Dr. Muhammed Ibrahim Madi attacked Arab-Moslem world leaders because they are avoiding attacking Israel with missiles and tanks, and threatened them that Allah is liable to "replace them with other men... that fight for Allah... to liberate the lands from the defilement of the Jews."

"My dear brothers, so continues the struggle between the Moslems and the Jews from the past, both near and far, in the present and in the future. And in this matter the word of Allah will be fulfilled: 'There will not be found [anyone] more hostile to the believers than the Jews and the idolaters." (Palestinian Official TV, quoting the Koran - Sura 5,84)

I'm sure thats very true.
 
the palestinians killed are combatants, plain and simple.

there are curfews in those areas so most of the people are staying inside. they have breaks in the curfews allowing people to shop for food, etc. the only people being killed are the militant males who are sniping and resisting.

first of all, we're both lunatics, and something like that wouldn't be that uncommon in the US 🙂 .. but anyway, if you know anything about anything, you know that they're both guilty. everyone makes the israelis out to be heros when they're not.. at all.. and neither are the suicide bombers, or anyone fighting.. they're both fighting and they're both killing, and innocents are involved on both sides.. who knows how many innocent palestinians have died? we only hear reports on the israelis.

i stand by my statement that both sides that are killing are just as guilty as each other.
 
I am totally against what Israel is doing. It will do nothing to help for peace. Palestinians are still able to blow themselves up, evidenced by the latest bus blast. From what I've seen it looks like revenge to me. Nobody in on their side cept the US, and even the US calls for them to pull out, but that may just be for public perception, what they tell them behind closed doors may be something different.

I also think Arafat needs to have his nobel peace prize taken away, if that is at all possible. He got that award like 10 yrs ago..where's the peace?

Sounds like a really fun place...and you wonder why they dislike the Israeli's so much. It's a two way hate street. Sharon is a war criminal and Arafat is a terrorist and these people are the ones who are supposed to be in charge...Cry me a river. The only way I see this ending is if Israel eradicates Palestine or vice versa. Arafat is only a figurehead and he isn't in charge as much as everyone would like you to believe..No one speaks for Palestine. Arafat speaks for the PLO and to a limited degree the fatah. He is just a collegue of the Hamas and Hezbollah and any other group over there. So unless they can find someone who can broker peace and speak for all of Palestine than there will be no peace. This is why the US needs to bring in the rest of the Arab world because the US means nothing to these groups. If we were to have Crown Prince Abdullah, Mubarak and the rest of the gang brought in. These leaders have already said that they would support a Israel state fully, and Israel would only surrender 22% of the occupied land. Israel would have to allow the refugees that it booted back in the country though and this doesn't sit pretty with them.
 
It never hurts to get the perspective of another group of people on an issue as contentious as this one.

Arafat's criminal thugs are killing their own people and blaming the Israelis. Arafat want's a sizeable body count to parade in front of the media because he knows the touchy feely types are suckers for this tactic. Gives the "students" something to protest about.
 
What would we do if the native americans started doing suicide bombings here to all the non-native american, this would be just about all of us. This would be the same situation as what is going on over there. To all the pro-palestinians people how would YOU handle this situation. I am curious as to what your thoughts are on this as I agree with what israel is doing, and would like to understand just what the other side sees.
