Same here, but don't give up. Here's what I did. I called them: 888-242-3837. Got a human quickly and told her what happened. She put me on hold 2 or 3 minutes and came back. I hadn't even told her the details of the order - the code, the number of DVDs, the price... nothing. She guessed the details! I said, yeah, and she asked me for my code. "cycd", I said, and she asked me for the titles or selection numbers. I only had the titles. I asked her to make sure I was getting wide screen versions, gave her my CC number, etc. and it's done. "6 weeks or sooner", she said, and that's standard and I think I'll probably have them in a couple weeks. Here's what I ordered for $25 + tax:

If their policies (near as I can make out) are the same as they were around 2-3 months ago, you're OK as long as you don't have more than two accounts open at one time. If you try to get more than 2, use a different address. To be safe, I'd also call from a different phone number. Once you close an account, I think you can open another. I've even heard of people closing an account and opening another on the same call but I don't have the nerve to do that... LOL.

I think this deal is dead. Their site is entirely changed, and the coupon code generates an invalid error.

It's not dead. Read the posts before yours on this page. It works over the phone.

The website has been 'buggy'. Those problems may or may not get resolved. The code works on the blue site, but it's currently generating a 404 error message during checkout. Regardless, you can get in over the phone.

I just placed my 2nd order this morning (2/8). The online order is dead because it gives me a message that the code isn't valid. I had to order over the phone 1-800-692-1000. The first CSR didn't even know how to enter a different code, so I called again and the 2nd CSR knew about it.

Well, since I have two orders in on cycd, I presume I can't do the cy4d until I cancel one of my cycd orders, right? My experience tells me they don't charge your credit card until they ship. I figure you don't cancel until you receive your order though, although I suppose you could and then order again, saving some time. Anybody with experience? Anybody receive their shipment yet?

You are allowed to have two open "memberships" per address. They don't care what code you signed up under. So yes, if you already have two under the first code, you can't sign up for any more until you cancel one of those.

I haven't yet received them, but I was billed on the 5th for an order I made on the 1st. My experience has been that it takes 6-8 business days to receive their dvds once you're billed. This is only my fifth order from them so other's experiences may be different.

The really good news is that now you can CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE...fully automated, no email to send.

Log into the DVD Club, then go to CLUB HELP>13. Can't find your answer here>Go to the Contact Us page. From the first dropdown, select "Cancel Membership." A popup will appear stating that the process is now automated. Follow that link, jump through the hoops, and you're done.

If you're planning on signing up again, I suggest you just call it in. It's got to be faster than the online form (even if it is automated).

I've cancelled on one day (via phone) and signed up again the next day several times. Never any problems.

I just went to the FAQ while I was logged in and found the cancel membership link. It said that it would email confirmation but it has been an hour or so and I haven't got an email yet. I did pick out my 3rd set of 5 and save my shopping cart under a different email address so that I can sign up again as soon as the first one is confirmed as being cancelled.

As soon as they charge your CC (if you are brave) you can call in and cancel your old account and start a new one...I've ordered right after I cancelled on the same phone call before!

If you cancel before you get your DVDs you MIGHT have problems if they sent you the wrong stuff, though

I just called my better half, we received our 10 in the mail today. Went columbiahouse.com and cancelled a few minutes ago. Painless.

Now to decide if I want another 5 or 10 .
