Got mine. I looked around the site for canceling membership, only place I could find was under "contact us" and then one of the subject lines in the drop down box is "cancel membership". Anyone find a more direct means of canceling?

I think I got an even better deal. I managed to use the discount code and sign up through ebates, which gives me $6 for signing up. So $19 for 5 DVDs, I'll take it.

They appear to be like 3 episode DVDs. For old shows it's prob worth about 5 bucks or so.

I was wondering did u place all three orders with the same address, same email address?
I place first two orders with different email address, but same mailing address, got confirmation for the first one, I placed another two orders with the another address and another email address, got only one confirmation, so two out of four. Did this happen to anyone?

For 2 of the orders I used one address (I used a CC for one, and 'bill me later' for the other). My third order I used a different address, and a different CC. I also used different e-mails for each.

According to the folks over at dvdtalk you can place up to 2 orders, per address. Others have also reported getting their conformations back on 2 orders, which were made on the same address.

Right now, two of my orders have been confirmed (one for each address), and I'm waiting for conformation on the third (the second on one of the addressed). But I placed that order tonight, so I'm not expecting conformation for it until tomorrow (at the earliest).

Awwww.. bad move on the army of darkness. I was just about to grab that when I noticed on bestbuy it's only 20 to preorder the boomstick edition and you get a $10 online coupon with it.

goddanmit.. I did an order through red site on friday and they enver sent email confirmation. I did another one this week and it's all set now. That would really annoy me if they somehow didn't approve the first one.

Looks like it's dead.

Just tried it a couple of minutes ago on the web site and it still worked for me.

I can get to order page on blue site, but when I enter code now, the right column is just blank yellow with no slots for dvds. I already tried clearing cookies. I'll try cache now too.

I would really like to get those ones I ordered first but I am afraid to try and order them again!!!

So if we created (signed up) for 2 accounts, using the same name & addy & cc info... isn't the computer system going to reject it, since an account already exist? If 2 identical accounts, how do we cancel both of them - is columbia house going 2 have issue with that?

I'd have been all over this for 10 DVD's if it weren't for 3 things:

1: Valentine's Day
2: Anniversary (20th)
3: Wife is due any day now

:( Anyone notice an expiration date on that code???

Doua,

I did just what you said....I joined twice using the same address, cc#, email address. I have received both of my "Welcome" emails and they both have different account numbers. When you log into the website you have to supply your account number to setup your online access. I assume this is where the two accounts will be seperated as you will also have to give different username and password to access per each account number. I have had no problems yet. I am going to try for another 2 memberships at another address, using a second cc #, and a different address!!!

Get 5 movies for you, get 5 chick flicks for her. She can watch her movies while home for 6 weeks... You win by not having to sit through those chick flicks with her at a later time.
