Are there any stats sites other than d20l's stats? I know Griz used to have stats for it, but the link I had bookmarked no longer works.

Use the link in my sig... I wrote these for the TeAm, but they are team-nonspecific :)

What do you mean by this? I run about 10 GHz of high speed Athlons at home and dont have a problem with dial-up. Best to go get coffee or something of that nature but not as bad as SETI@home. If you are referring to D2OL being a bandwidth hog then yes it is and I use NetLimiter to keep it down to 1KB per second.
Fortunately, I was overreacting. I'm on NetZero free and only get 20 min/day (10 hrs/30 days). But I've built up a nice queue of 300 and everything is working fine. :)

Re: sneakernetting, I figured that much out when my client suddenly refused to display a GUI. (Long story short, don't try pointing to a nonexistant socks proxy with NetCat listening.) The trick is, can you merge in new WUs with the old, without waiting for all the old WUs to complete?

Finally, don't forget that if you don't want to use the built-in GUI, you can close the main window and go steal DSpy from those Frozen Yogurt guys. :) (It's obviously meant to be stolen. It even has a Dutch language setting for you-know-moo.)

Over a year ago, I ran this project for a short time and want my machines to work for the same ID again.
I don't have the password to add nodes anymore and I don't know how to get it again. Can anybody here help?

[edit]
And the solution was simple: Just e-mail the helpdesk at D2OL.com and you receive a new password in 1 day.

Well, if you didn't save the node.prp file from each machine then you're out of luck for using the same node numbers. I did the same, I ran this about 2 years ago and am getting back in.

I'm signed up and got 12 assignments completed so far. Got a P4 2.8, athlon 1600+ and a Athlon 900 working for the team now. :D

Yep. Finally got some of the guys restarted on TSC. Not making any headway though. Ever since I sold 3 of my duallie boxes, I'm running in slow motion. I see you guys are having fun though.

Any idea if the dual opteron boxes are any good for crunching? I still have 3 duallie boxes, 2400+, 2100+ and 2000+. Will say a duallie 240 opteron box crunch substantially faster than any of the boxes I got?

I know they are good at seti but I haven't seen any remarks on any of the other projects. I don't know that the output is equal to the cost myself. A few 2700xp's is the fastest thing I have

Yep you can build a bunch of crunchers for that

I agree. We're closing the gap but we still need a few more people to join. The DPC are still out producing us. :(

Oh, it helps. We are 3k behind a day. 30 half way decent machines, and the Cows are stalemated! There is not that much difference between them and us.
