"Republicans put back in charge!" Until they piss off the voters, and it's back to the democrats......till they piss off the voters, then it's back to the republicans.
what's the definition of insanity again?

That's me. Simple and gullible.
Well the Dems care about their supporters.
🙂
Jhhnn called - he wants his (lack of) reading comprehension back.Lol, yet again, when reality conflicts with what werepossum wants to believe it must be a conspiracy by others to trick you.
Same deal for you as for DSF. I welcome a single plan for revenue neutral tax reform that actually says how it will achieve this revenue neutrality. Whenever you see one you let me know. (The failure of one to arrive will inevitably be the result of some progressive conspiracy, I'm sure)
I don't think he is asking for much when he requests a plan that explains how they are able to bend the rules of math.Jhhnn called - he wants his (lack of) reading comprehension back.
There is absolutely no chance that anyone could produce a Republican proposal you'd accept as serious because your definition of serious is aligned with your own druthers. Everyone knows this - because you never, ever deviate from it. If you choose to pretend this knowledge is somehow belief in a conspiracy, that's certainly no skin off my nose.
didn't read the thread.
are the next 2 years going to be the worst fracking thing ever politically, since the president can't do jack and the house/congress will be threatened with veto on everything?
worst case scenario, I don't see how it'll be any worst than the past 2 years.
but people may have learned from Reid's mistake, hopefully... because he blocked any contentious bill from ever seeing the Senate floor, no Democratic candidates had a chance to vote against them and separate themselves from Obama (which allowed Republicans to flood the airwaves with "So and so voted with Obama 99% of the time!!!" ads, and nevermind the fact that 99/100 of those votes were on routine stuff like confirmations/appointments)

GOP crafts narrow agenda for new Congress, seeking unity, Democratic votes
With the 2016 presidential campaign already looming large, McConnell (Ky.) and Boehner (Ohio) are both eager to shed the party’s image as an unruly collection of obstructionists and far-right ideologues.
The remedy, they have decided: Act quickly to send President Obama bills with bipartisan support to fast-track international trade agreements, repeal an unpopular tax on medical devices and approve the Keystone XL pipeline...
However, GOP leaders are discussing more limited efforts to undermine the [ACA], such as watering down the requirement that employers offer full-time workers coverage, which takes effect in January. The administration has already delayed portions of that mandate.
Republicans could also try to change the definition of a full-time worker from someone who works 30 hours a week to 40 hours a week, another proposal likely to draw substantial Democratic support.
You know, I often struggle with the whole war on drugs thing and move towards the libertarian position of just making it all legal. And just when I'm about there, I see posts like yours and if drugs really are so dangerous that it's worth the BS we go through to keep them illegal.
I weep when I think of the damaged minds of the children.
two party system is broken
doesn't matter how much one side fucks up, they'll eventually be back in power then the other side inevitably fucks up just as much
Yep, now we're really going to see things change.🙄

Happy Day now we can go back to losing 800K jobs/month. Nice work
Again you mistake mocking for rage. You seriously need to work on that in group.!
Today I learned that requesting that people actually show how their "revenue neutral" tax proposal is revenue neutral is far too much to ask and will send werepossum into one of his characteristic rages.
As always, it's everyone but yourself that's the problem. We are all filled with partisan hackery, nefarious motives, and who knows what else. It couldn't possibly be that you're just not terribly bright, form strong opinions about things you don't understand, and are too proud to admit as much.
Now that I think about it, that's pretty much exactly it.
Yeah . . . I'll believe that when I see it.
Dude, you''re a hard core lefty. You should be demanding the destruction of the market; that's money the evil rich make off the workers' sweat. That money should have all been paid out in wages.Yep the 6 year DJIA market run is circling the drain. I wonder if the Republicans can destroy the market before the next election cylcle.
He's been blinded by his 401K earnings.Dude, you''re a hard core lefty. You should be demanding the destruction of the market; that's money the evil rich make off the workers' sweat. That money should have all been paid out in wages.
Man, it's like you aren't even down with the struggle at all.
He's been blinded by his 401K earnings.
QE infinity, FTW..... which were entirely due to Obama and the democrats. That is a painful truth. I fear for retirement accounts of all Americans now that the lunatics are going to run the asylum.
