I find it unimaginable that a majority of voters would vote for a clearly fascist party even though I understand the fact that Americans hate and unconsciously wish to destroy themselves. It's as puzzling in a way as to how it is that a so called Christian nation has so little religious faith. But clearly it is so very much more difficult to forgive than to seek revenge which is what the Republican religion promises. Fat lot of good it does to warn about the anti-Christ. God is nowhere to be found for the faithless but there the anti-Christ is right there on TV. He will show you how to delight in the suffering of others. Your turn to get to do the nailing.

I don't get how they called Rand Paul when he was 10 points behind right before polls closing.

My are had many vote houses, never had to wait more then 10 minutes. they now only have 3 across the county. waited an hour or more.

Our old vote house had 3 machines in it. The large one in town today had 5 machines. There were probably around a dozen vote houses if not more that each held 3 machines.

It's funny how Democrats support non-partisan redistricting but Republicans are such shitty people that can only win so many seats without gerrymandering.

LOL religion. The shitbird white supremacist southern baptists were formed specifically in support of slavery.

I don't support non partisan redistricting. If the GOP does it we have to also. Also support admitting DC as two states, one South DC, one North DC, as soon as the Democrats have the chance.

They use exit poll data to make early projections, not the official incoming counts unless it's a clear landslide.

You should. If there was nonpartisan redistricting the Democrats would clean the house up. In too many of the shithole red states they redistrict by diluting more urban democratic heavy areas by taking a little piece of that and mixing in with regressive less urban and rural areas. This dilutes the urban vote into small chunks and has them enveloped by the regressive fascist areas of the states.

So my general impression is that Florida is a dumpster fire rolling into a gasoline soaked tire dump for Democrats but most other places in the east not so much right now.

We'll see.

Florida has been an unofficial shit hole for a bit now, now it's just full shit hole status.

The notion that a completely partisan governor (DeSantis) can redraw the maps without any oversight...is not problematic to anyone else?

Starting to be pretty clear there is no real red wave. At least outside of FL. Looks to be quite tame as far as midterm swings go.
