i am unable to find any legitimate source to support this assertion, can you provide a link for it? there are plenty of unnamed sources saying it but no "Trump spokesperson" (not even sure Trump has a current spokesperson).

This is at least the 2nd seat lost just because the GOP decided to chuck reliable incumbents who voted for impeachment.
 
Honestly I am okay with gridlock the next two years. It will be worth it when the GOP does a lot of stupid shit with a 219-216 House. They won’t be able to stop their GQP members from doing stupid shit and they will get decimated in 2024 after alienating all moderates and independents. They lost the independents by 1% in this midterm which is unheard of. Let them be dumbasses the next two years.

Holy bleeping crap. The GOP is a bunch of ghouls. This is the type of candidate that they will endorse and pretend they are not racist. Walker doesn't even realize how badly he's being used. He's also garbage compared to Warnock. Warnock himself is a flawed man, but he's a 100x better than Walker.

And while we're on crappy candidates. WTF Georgia? You vote back in Machine Gun Barbie again? You couldn't find one candidate smarter than her? Not one fucking person in the whole state of Georgia who can represent your interests, and the interests of the entire US of A that is better than her? And that's on top of potentially voting in Walker? Seriously? WTF?!?

"Machine Gun Barbie" represents NW GA, not the entire state. NW GA is kind of like east WA or OR, redneck central.

Probably either just delivered by post office today, or voter came in to correct defect on mail-in ballot (e.g. missing signature) today

No matter which side wins House, the speaker is going to have an extremely painful job keeping their caucus in line to get anything done at all, when any 1 or 2 "fine" folks out of ~218 can spoke the wheels for political attention.

Of course, trying to get bi-partisan cross-over votes would be a novel (and unlikely) tactic.
 
Now is the time. Democrats need to go all in on gerrymandered districts, as in say “the voters have spoken and we would have X amount more if every district was fair, we wouldn’t have as many shitty judge appointments if every district was fair.

Yeah, I'm kind of taking it out on the entire state of GA, and maybe that's unfair to the entire state considering western PA is also redneck central and the Fetterman vs Oz or Shapiro vs Mastriano.

Fetterman got 2.7 million votes to Oz's 2.4 million. Oz is a moneygrubbing snake oil salesman who killed puppies with his experiments. Other than that, he's not bad. And he got 2.4 million votes.

Shapiro got 2.9 million votes to Mastriano's 2.2 million. What's god damn amazing is Mastriano paid money for "campaign consultation" to a hate group that has racist and anti-Semitic messages. 2.2 million people in the state I live in voted for a racist.

It's still a WTF moment that so many would vote for shitty people, just to stay within party lines.
 
I just figured out how to change my party by re-registering to vote. Late for the election, but now I will get the proper ballot next time. It will say Galactic Empire!

I would just note that the Independent Barry Lindemann (with solely Republican ideals, 2 of his top priorities are sealing the southern border - presumably wanting to build a wall to keep all the Californians out?, and "irresponsible" government spending causing inflation), took 7,600 votes...
