This may have been brought up already but both bodies of the AZ state legislature are controlled by Republicans by a few votes. So is there a danger they may overturn the senator election results if the Dem wins? Or maybe the legislature won't be able to get enough Republicans on board to scrap the election results if they have the cojones to even consider a vote on it?
No more likely orange monkey in a skirt will accuse Hobbs for cheating since she’s the Secretary of State

The best option would be for DeSantis to run and he and Trump have a civil war. It could fracture the GQP terrorist party more than enough to make 2024 a blowout for the Dems.

Calling things two weeks out can be useless, let alone two years, but I can see that happening for sure. Would still be better if NY, DoJ and the courts settle the dispute for them, put Trump behind bars where his sorry treasonous ass belongs.

Were he to instead be humiliated by having to give over to an empty suit nobody he himself helped put in power, well I'd learn to live it with it. Somehow.

Trump should look on the bright side, no more elections left for him to lose. Isn't he enough of a loser already? Maybe not, maybe he should just tell his people to write him in. That'll show'em.

That's ... what I said. Except the forum thing, I don't know about that stuff.
It read like you were saying they would still be all for Trump. then I looked a little closer and see the nuance of what you were saying. evidentlyI misunderstood. His attack on DeSantis about vote totals really seems to have set people off against him. His time is done from what I see, even among many of the most die hard.

I think you’re wrong. Looking at a few right wing extreme forms today I was shocked at how many have kicked Trump to the curb and want him to shut auto and sit down. More than feel DeSantis has what Trump needs. And he delivered huge in Florida. the majority of what we’re die hard Trumpers seem to have moved on.
Trump isn't going to suddenly stop being Trump. He talks about his "Trump" persona as if it is a separate entity and has refused to accept his 2020 election loss to this day. He'll cause a shitstorm if his reign is questioned. Desantis gerrymandered the results in Florida which makes him look more popular than he really is which I am fine with the GOP falling for it just like they fell for the people Trump hired to cheer him down the "golden escalator" he still talks about. Trump does have way more dirt on the GOP that he can use against them which is how he's kept them onboard for this long. He has already threatened that he has dirt on Desantis. This is also why the secret document case is so important. He would 100% use that stuff to his advantage if he hasn't already. I hope he throws as much shit against the GOP that he has thrown against reality for his entire life..

I would actually like to say that if someone is able to make Bobert's district competitive, they deserve a chance in 2024 or 2028. How many politicians do you think have the ability to do something like Frisch did?

The GQP shitting on all young voters is great, if the Dems just use some of these clips in ads, it could certainly backfire big time on the shitty GQP - I mean I'd get motivated if the GQP was calling my entire generation dumb assholes who are the main problem in the count

'our opponent only won because more of the American voting base likes them and their policies more than ours' sounds straight out of the John Madden class for how to explain stuff to people.

Umm, I wouldn't be this overconfident. Trump would defeat Kamala Harris, almost certainly IMHO. She just turns a lot of people off, including Black men. I don't know if Liz Warren runs again, but Trump has a "fair fight" against her as well. There are still a lot of Muricans who are at least "hesitant" about a female POTUS.

I glanced at the counties and what's left is somewhat balanced (it's very hard to say based on limited info). OTOH they also have to give a lot of runway for mail-in votes from active military and that suggests to me that Bobo will survive this close call. :( Geographically, CO-3 district looks huge! Maybe 40% of the state's land.

Be careful what you wish for. It's one thing for Dems to promote Dr. Oz or Herschel Walker in a GOP primary. Ron DeathSantis looks like a star for his party, and whatever he lacks in charisma, he makes up for in apparent stability. He's also comfortable with appealing to MAGA while being a "competent" executive. It might be "interesting" to watch the GOP presidential primary play out, but I'd suspect DeathSantis will look stronger if he emerges out of a tough fight.
Yea and Trump is gonna torpedo that, the maga faithfull, an 20% of the R base is true Trumpanzees, if Trump says Santis bad, they’re staying home.
However Trump is older than Ron, there may be a natural shift in power if Jnr does not lay claim.

A year or two ago some prominent conservative commentator was seriously pushing for the idea that only land-owning males aged 35-60 could vote. Forget his name.

When the 'pubs start complaining about Trump shitting on the floor and generally trashing the GOP can we all just reply to their comments with "orange man bad"? :D

Someone needs to merge two crises, make a verified Boris Twitter account and announce that he's running for US president as the new conservative party.

- Watch out, Boris Johnson's befuddled Englishman charm would absolutely demolish us Americans. Hugh Grant made a whole career out of "Befuddled Englishman", wouldn't trust Johnson around the American voting public for a split second.

Boebert's lead is now down to 250 as most of what's left should be favored to the Dem by a good amount.

Let’s pretend Dems somehow manage to keep house majority and get 51 in the senate. Which R senator could croak where there a D governor that they’ll select replacement senator?
