The current house apportionment formula and cap on seats is an abomination. I'd say the same for the EC since the idea that one party could consistently lose the popular vote but gain the presidency was totally not the intent.

Florida is the ultimate "FEELS BAD" state. 29 electoral votes given to a single candidate because of a 500 vote difference between 6,000,000 overall votes. It's just not doing any favors in this ultra partisan winner take all loser gets nothing era of politics we have entered.

I am fully prepared to pay Elon Musk a substantial sum if he can figure out a way to dissolve the limestone under it far more rapidly without anybody noticing.

Yes and as I pointed out, before you tried to both sides the argument, the Republicans put party before country. Something the founding fathers didn't think would happen at such a large scale.

That covers the GOP leadership but not their voters who apparently can't see that or dismiss it as less important than God, guns, gays & the usual array of GOP wedge issues.

Don't disagree, but we should be sober in the fact that it won't be corrected by a single election. It's going to be a hard, sustained fight.

Dems got completely screwed in 2010 and have paid the price for the last decade. On top, Obama did a shit job building the infrastructure under him at the local levels. The Ds don't really have clear leadership, and what is there is old and near retirement.

One good midterm on a republican favorable map only begins to wind that back.

Another chunk of AZ votes just got posted....Sinema pulled ahead of McSally by about 2k votes.

Still a long way to go here though.
