"I do not know what is tooth booger vote."

don't know what that is, but the chick is hot. Anyway, I knew that I would need to explain this. No one was watching the primary debates in 2016?

Damn, his campaign went hard crawling through google to delete the best evidence :D...that thing actually crawled up his face for the majority of the shot before it ended up in his mouth, again, to be swallowed for sustenance. It was revolting, and it was live TV, and it was in glorious HD when it happened.

It is why humans really shouldn't be subjected to HD.

Anyway, yeah that all happened. It's just one of the many strange truths of this flesh-lined insect bag, popularly known as "Ted Cruz"

It looks more or less as expected. It's a shame about the gov. races however the real power is in DC and now the Dems will gain the House, that that's where all the "fun" begins.

Yeah its funny how "moderate" democrats lost.. no enthusiasm to vote for them, but progressive dems are doing way way better than expected everywhere.

Muh blue wave though

I mean it kind of was a blue wave. Assuming the current projected margin holds the only larger wave in our lifetimes will have been 2008.

The fact that this wasn’t a total blowout in end effects is a statement as to how badly the system is rigged in the House.

And Nunes...I hope he pulls it out, actually, because either way he just moved to the top of Mueller's "priority file" pile. Fucker and his family are toast. Only sweeter if he gets the perp walk out of Congress instead of at home, in his bathrobe and Spongebob slippers, surrounded by the illegals that he hired to work his fields.

Uh, I mean: Too bad for that horrible example of humanity...I guess?

I don't see any of this as fun. Voter satisfaction in government is at all time lows, government is less responsive to voter needs at all time lows, and the country is fairly steadily losing is position in an increasingly complicated and threatening world. Yet people keep voting for the same individuals that have more or less created this situation. This is probably as good in terms of voter enthusiasm as it's gonna get and the dems basically got crushed. Future looks pretty grim I think...I mean alabama literally just voted to codify the ten commandments into state law. This is 2018. I mean even the Alabama leadership in like the 1800s (an allegedly more backwards time, though I guess with the events of today that is questionable) didn't think of doing something so asinine and unamerican. But here we are...

You must have a weird definition of "crushed".

Yup. The structural disadvantages the Democrats had in the election muted what was otherwise a vociferous rebuke of Trumpism.

Muh White Power.

Well you're right..

A white trumper assaults people and doesn't even get arrested.

A white candidate calls his black opponent a monkey and still gets elected.

You're trying to describe inverted totalitarianism. All of those bugs you mentioned, are features.

Democrats will just have to figure out how to sell progressive policies in the heartland instead of being folksy "moderate" standing for nothing and hoping for the best. Republicans are selling fake populism out there, Democrats need to sell the real New Deal.

The good news is that one of the most successful speakers of the house will be back in power.

The bad news is that person is the rights 2nd favorite boogeyman, Nancy Pelosi.
