Not a wave, but just enough.

Currently the Democrats are projecting to win the popular vote by about ten points. That is a COLOSSAL wave.

The problem is that the senate elections were taking place in very red states and Republicans rigged the system for house districts. If republicans won by ten points they would call it a tsunami.

Upshot, of Beto losing. He is now basically is set up for 2020. He's got the energy, name and momentum to run over anyone that the Dems put up. He's the youth and charisma of 2008 Obama with the progressive ideology of 2016 Bernie.

Agreed he’d make a good candidate

Too bad about Beto but the single most important was taking the House. Everything else was secondary.

Mueller needs to get the GJ report into the hands the House Judiciary Committee who can only hide it until the official change of the guard. Give a copy to everyone, including every Dem.

This is why the Dems need to win the House and stop the gerrymandering.

I understand, I was looking forward to Lyin’ Ted losing and being a real wave.

McSally behind in Arizona at the moment but it will be very close. My guess is that with the Green candidate getting some of the liberal vote, McSally will squeak by.

It's obvious, VERY OBVIOUS that ""THE PEOPLE"" wanted republicans to still have a lot of pull within American government, HOWEVER......
THE PEOPLE do want ACCOUNTABILITY.
THE PEOPLE feel the economy is pretty strong, that Donald is keeping his finger on the illegal immigrant invasion 😀 😀 😀 however... The PEOPLE do want at least one sector of government to keep an eye on Donald Trump.

And so, democrats.... I'D CALL THAT A WIN.
Oh sure, we democrats wanted it all tonight, we wanted it all, but at least we did something pretty damn incredible flipping the house.
Sometimes, half full is better than half empty.

Guys...anyone have a bad feeling that Rohrabacher and the Russians have it fixed in California?? Could that mess with the House control projection?

Cant believe I'm saying this about a sportage post, but if you go get rid of all the caps this is a rather even-handed assessment.

Make it so

California would never fall for Russian trickery. You're were probably trying to say Connecticut

I’d like to submit a potential candidate for the “wait, what?” race of the night: Connecticut’s governor race, where with 27 percent reporting, Republican Bob Stefanowski is ahead of Demoracat Ned Lamont 48.5 percent to 46.8 percent. I haven’t yet looked into where that 27 percent is coming from but still, I am raising at least one eyebrow at this one.

Even with the loss Beto lifted the rest of the Dems in the state. There’s a chance for a few pick ups as a result.
