If Mariota somehow falls to 2 I hope there is a team willing to trade up with the Titans to get him. I don't think there is a QB worth taking with a #1 or 2 this year and would rather trade down and get one of the DL or LB prospects. We need so many pieces that extra picks would be more beneficial than a QB that will likely get run out of town before we have the other spots up to snuff.
There are so few choices this year though some cheap trades could happen. Washington has a backup to trade. Lovie has a decent QB he doesnt respect for some reason in Glennon and the Chiefs could deal their backup as well.
Rex is a devil you know guy and at least he knows Buttefumble
There isn't a QB that's worth a #1 overall pick. Tampa might be dumb enough to take Jameis at 1, though.
I think the Bucs will take Winston #1 overall. Mariota time will tell. It depends if he can land on a team willing to spend a couple seasons teaching him how to be a pro-style QB. If a team drafts expecting him to start right away. Then expect another RG3 disaster imo.
I still don't see what people seem to see in Winston. Is it just that he happens to be the King of Shitsvania (regarding QBs) this year?
Wonder if Denver would trade up to get Mariota since looks like they got Payton another year then he will be done? Either that or another team that has a decent QB but only a year or two left in the tank.
But yea he seems to have the most potential at QB IMO but only if a team works with him.

Eh where to start? His physical attributes are solid. His arm strength very good. Decision making very good. Understanding of pro-style concepts are very good. He also won a heisman, lead his team to a national championship as a freshman, and then helped carry a young offense at the skill positions his second year to 13-1 with a 26-1 overall starting record.
yeah, but individually he doesn't seem to have a lot outside of those teams. I only watched him play 2 or 3 times this year, but it looked like he was just running around reacting to things, and were it not for the peeps around him, FSU would have lost those games by 10 points instead of winning them by 3.
Heisman means mostly dick for the NFL. Tebow won two of them, and he's terrible. Chris Weinke won a fucking Heisman. RG3 won one over Luck. lol! Was the last deserving Heisman winner Woodson?...and that was over the good Manning (yes--the shitty Manning actually won a Heisman! roflbbqandstuff).
He's already a complete disaster off the field, almost certainly cancer in the locker room, and I really don't see him being the person that elevates bad or even decent teams.
Physical attributes, arm strength, and decision making. You are describing Jamarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, and Byron Leftwich. Only one of those 3 had real NFL talent, except that he fizzled out pretty quickly.
I'm describing every highly drafted QB.

Browns WR Josh Gordon flunked another drug test and now will be subject to a one-year banishment, per league sources.
Another gift from the Factory of Sadness, i heard he tested positive for alcohol.

Tested positive for alcohol?
Seriously?
Since when was alcohol a banned substance in the NFL? Come on guys.![]()
When you have a previous dui.
And driving is an issue when you're on the field? If he failed a sobriety test at a checkpoint and got cited for another DUI, fine. Due process. But alcohol screening, especially during the "offseason"?
Priorities NFL, priorities.
