I'm sure with a few billion you could join Pickens and his Cabal anytime.

What's with this obsession with oil? You want the prices to go down? Use less and/or have the government print less money. You can control the former personally.

Looking at the rate of inflation over the last 40 years, the price of gas is the same. You're too stupid to understand that, aren't you? :\

Remember the so called experts said prices would not skyrocket this year.

Also we are swimming in tons and tons of oil. There is no shortage.

This is all 110% bullshit as usual by a criminal cabal that our Government is in bed with since 1973.

Oil up near $103 amid Libya, Ukraine conflicts

The price of oil approached $103 a barrel Monday as violence in Libya threatened to once again delay a potential increase in the country's exports of crude.

By early afternoon in Europe, benchmark U.S. crude for June delivery was up 78 cents to $102.80 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. On Friday, the Nymex contract added 52 cents to close at $102.02, gaining about 2 percent for the week.

Oil prices were also supported by a surge in U.S. housing construction.

Reminder

We just hit record levels of oil that we are swimming in more than we ever had. This small drop is nothing and certainly should not be used as an excuse any reasonable person to be considered as a valid excuse to raise oil to $103.

The Oil Thug criminal cabal rolls on as usual.

Oil climbs to $103 as US supplies seen falling

The price of oil climbed to $103 a barrel Wednesday after a report showed a large drop in U.S. crude supplies.

By early afternoon in Europe, benchmark U.S. crude for July delivery was up 71 cents to $103.04

A report from the American Petroleum Institute showed a drop of 10.3 million barrels in U.S. crude stockpiles, against expectations of a decline of 300,000 barrels by analysts surveyed by Platts, the energy information arm of McGraw-Hill Cos.

Supplies are seen to have fallen last week on lower imports and increased processing by refineries.

Oil prices were also supported by political instability in Libya, usually a key supplier to European refineries, and the conflict in eastern Ukraine between the government and pro-Russia separatists ahead of presidential elections on Sunday.

Which is it; oversupply or supply levels falling. :colbert:

You bitch about one and then quote the other as justification.

Or do you STILL have a comprehension problem :whiste:

The guy is litterally dumber than a box of rocks. He doesn't have the slightest clue what he's bitching about. He just knows someone somewhere is making piles of money that magically should be his instead and he's pissed off about it.

You could have a more meaningful discussion about gas prices or anything else with a brick wall than with McOwned.

Obviously we're swimming in record levels of oil that we, um, don't have. Duh!

Memorial Day Gas Prices Will Not Terrify, Especially If You Buy At This Time

NEW YORK ( MainStreet) — Travelers who are planning to drive out of town this weekend to celebrate Memorial Day are likely to see gas prices maintain their current rates.

Prices at gas pumps across the country are averaging $3.62 a gallon in many states, according to Gasbuddy.com.

The lowest price is in Arkansas where gasoline prices are $3.36 a gallon. Gas jumps to $3.43 a gallon in Texas, $3.86 in New York and as high as $4.12 in California. The highest gas is in Hawaii at $4.35.

Regular gasoline retail prices will continue to stay within this range and is projected to reach an average of $3.61 per gallon during the summer months of April through September, the Energy Information Administration said. The annual average regular gasoline retail price was $3.58 per gallon in 2013.

Gasoline prices should continue to retreat, said Chris Faulkner, CEO of Breitling Energy, a Dallas oil and gas exploration and production company.

"It's always a good thing when travelers have more money for beer and BBQ than having to plow it all toward gasoline ," he said. "Travelers can keep more cash in their wallets."

Oh well, guess we'll have another year without $5.00/gal gas. That must really twist your panties in a big knot.

Hess selling its retail business to Marathon Petroleum

Deal will combine the fourth- and fifth-largest convenience store chains in the U.S.

Hess Corp. (HES) agreed to sell its retail business to Marathon Petroleum Corp. (MPC) for $2.6 billion

Speedway has about 1,480 stores in nine states, with a bulk of those locations in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky.

Hess, which has 1,342 gas stations and convenience stores along the East Coast, intends to use proceeds from the deal to repurchase more shares. The deal, which is expected to close before the end of the year, will result in Hess fully focusing on exploration and production.

And what about those well known Hess toy trucks? Don't worry: Hess put out a separate statement on Thursday saying it would continue to sell them online after 2014.

The guy you are replying to is part of the reason for the increase in prices. He works for and supports the Oil Industry Cabal.

No, get it right for once in your life. I work for a company that sells steam turbines, reciprocating/centrifugal compressors, and control/protection systems for this equipment to the refineries/oil companies worldwide. As well as installation/commissioning and overhaul/maintenance/repair services on the equipment. The company also sell the same equipment/services to chemical plants, paper mills, and power plants worldwide as well.
